  Close enough to White Sands NP and just a few hours drive to Carlsbad Caverns NP and Guadalupe Mtns NP. Comfortable stay, convenient process, friendly and courteous staff at check-in, late night, breakfast, and at checkout were the standouts. Room had all the minimum amenities for a couples night’s stay including coffeemaker, microwave, fridge, etc. Great mirror lighting for the bathroom sink.

  Continental breakfast was good. Pretty basic stuff. Staff attending the breakfast were very nice. Booked a king room but was placed in a queen room. Rooms were not ready when we arrived after 3:30pm. Thank goodness for our booking company. They made things right. However, the hotel did nothing to make up for this error. Our room was pretty outdated. Fan in restroom coming apart, door jam broken, pretty bad condition. Did I mention 1 almost empty toilet paper roll. Wont come back here again.

  The rooms were surprisingly nice. When we pulled up, I was concerned that we were in the wrong place. The outside does not look nearly as inviting as the inside is. I especially appreciated the laminate floor in the dog-friendly room. It wasn't needed, but the peace of mind was nice, especially since you wonder how many other dogs have peed and n carpets. The reason I'm removing a star is purely because of the breakfast. It was so bad, especially in comparison to the rest of our experience. If they fix that, it would be a full 5 stars

  Edit: they claim to be recently renovated and had their reviews zeroed out for it, but I think all they did is paint the outside walls and maybe change the flooring to vinyl. Don't be fooled. They are also claiming I have the wrong hotel. 100% I do not. I have added pictures of just some of the filth. We haven't been here even 2 hours and we would be leaving if there were any other available hotels for the night. This place is absolutely filthy. The reviews being so new imply the hotel was recently opened or renovated, which it certainly was not. There is dog hair all over the floor, the shower is so disgusting I would rather sit in my own filth than that of the tub, every surface and feature of the room is disgusting - rust, dust, scum, stains, and markings of all kind. The bathroom door doesn't properly shut. There isn't enough parking. On top of that we booked 2 King rooms and both were Queens, if that. I don't know where all the good reviews are coming from but I don't believe they are authentic. This place doesn't need to be renovated, it needs to be torn down and rebuilt into something else. It's been at least 20 years since it was last updated if ever.

  Room 4/5 Service 3/5 ​We stayed here while visiting White Sands National Park. The room was large, clean, and well-equipped with a mini-fridge, hairdryer, and coffee maker. ​However, the body wash and lotion dispensers in our room were completely empty. Our friends in another room had the same issue. After checking Google reviews, I realized this is a common problem that management acknowledges but hasn't fixed. While the staff likely would have refilled them if asked, these basics should be prepared for every new guest. ​ There was no hot food on Chirstmas day, possibly due to being short-staffed (totally understand, won't complain about it). Additionally, a large group ahead of us took most of the yogurt, fruit, and utensils to go, leaving little for anyone else.
