I completely disagree with some of the other negative reviews. Hotel is really nice. Staff was fantastic. Room was small but super nice. Can’t beat the location. Staff personally checked in with me during my visit to make sure everything was good. Hotel lobby is amazing. Decor is perfect for Princeton. Food and drinks are excellent. Valet parking seemed expensive but is the same price if you park in a nearby garage. I will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Graduate by Hilton Princeton for a birthday weekend getaway for my boyfriend, and I couldn’t have picked a better place. I had a specific vision in mind for his 31st birthday, and Kat, the office manager, along with her team, made everything come together so seamlessly. I reached out ahead of time, and when we arrived, everything was set up exactly as I had hoped. The hotel has such a cool vibe - cozy, stylish, and very “Princeton.” The aesthetic throughout the building is beautiful, especially around the holidays, and check-in was quick and easy. The location is unbeatable. It’s steps away from everything, and after doing a Princeton walking tour, it was so nice to come back and relax. If you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion, this is absolutely the place to stay. I highly recommend reaching out to the staff ahead of time - they truly go above and beyond. We will definitely be back.

This is a lovely hotel in the heart of Princeton. We received a very warm welcome and we were able to check in to all 3 rooms early at noon which was a nice surprise. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated however they are very badly lit. The closet space is black and behind a black drape and it is impossible to see into the closet because there is no light. The bathroom lighting is also terrible - very difficult to do makeup or shave. When my husband pulled up to join us in the evening he was told that the valet could not park his car (Rivian) and he’d have to self park in another garage which was somewhat inconvenient. Not sure what was happening but there was quite a loud banging sound coming from outside very late at night that was annoying. The public space is stunning and lunch with friends in the restaurant was very good.

Horrible!! Having read a few reviews everything seems to make sense, only if we could’ve read the reviews earlier on. Aligning with what others have commented, this hotel is the epitome of beauty without functionality. Gimmicky designs that ride on the appeal of Princeton University, but lacking fundamental features to make the lodging experience even decently comfortable. Heater was broken during the stay, realised there were other comments about the AC malfunctioning, and can attest to the fact that something is definitely wrong with their air conditioning system. Heater was set to 82 (as we were simply freezing) but temperature throughout the night was 62, which is probably acceptable to some but we were freezing through the night with little to no sleep. Some of the shelves were decorative, making storage very inconvenient, and basic amenities were lacking - such as bottled water or drinking mugs, instead given disposable paper/plastic cups that run contrary to their “environmental” intention (if any). Toilet has no ventilation, with flooring tiles that are absolutely freezing (which seem to be the theme of our stay). To add on, the room feels musty and has a funny smell as the entire building is carpeted (except the bathroom). For a Hilton establishment, the standard of this stay has left much to be desired.

Although we didn’t stay overnight, my wife and I stopped into The Graduate after touring Princeton’s campus to relax and enjoy a coffee. The lobby is beautiful. Warm, thoughtfully designed, and complemented by a charming coffee shop and restaurant. We each had a coffee, which was good, but the standout for us was the atmosphere. It was incredibly cozy and inviting, the kind of place where you can comfortably sit, unwind, and have a conversation or study. They were just beginning to decorate for the holiday season, which added an extra layer of warmth. While I can’t speak to the rooms, our overall experience was very positive, and it’s a wonderful spot to take a pause and enjoy the moment.
