I've traveled extensively for both work and mostly pleasure. I've tried all biggies and some not so big. The one thing about The Hampton Inns is that they are consistently good. The check-in was friendly and quick. The room and everywhere was nice and clean. The room was big and comfortable. The bed was firm but not to the point where your hips hurt. And, the pillows were nice and soft. There was a nice big TV. The bathroom was excellent and the sink area separate with lots of space for all your toiletries, etc. The price was better than some of the other establishments. Breakfast was served from 6 am until 10 am. There was usual continental breakfast items, & delicious coffee and juices. You can make your own waffles or enjoy some hot oatmeal. The parking was plenty and we'll lit. Overall, you just can't go wrong with this hotel. Oh, for that matter....all Hampton Inns. BTW: they're pet friendly! Meow....it's Charlie approved!

We accidentally booked our room a month earlier than our trip and were having a lot of troubles getting a refund through Booking.com. But Stalin at the front desk helped us so much! He talked on the phone and emailed with the company for over 20 minutes trying to make sure we got our refund. Absolutely amazing customer service and thank you again Stalin!

I stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites, Parsippany – 3737 Route 46 East, and unfortunately had a very upsetting experience. In the middle of the night, I found a roach in my bed. I immediately called the front desk and spoke with Mary, who was polite and professional. She offered to move me to another room and explained that because I booked through a third party (Expedia), any reimbursement would need to be handled by the general manager the following day. While I appreciated her professionalism, the situation itself was unacceptable. I did not feel comfortable staying in the hotel after finding a roach in my bed, so I chose to leave around 2:30 AM rather than switch rooms. What was especially concerning was the explanation that sometimes guests may bring things in with them and that’s why guests are advised not to place luggage on the bed. Regardless of the source, a roach in the bed is a serious cleanliness issue and not something any guest should experience. As I was leaving, Mary made a comment along the lines of, “I would wish you a Happy New Year, but it doesn’t seem like your New Year is starting off so great.” I understand she may have been trying to lighten the moment, but given the situation, it came across as poorly timed. I will be following up with management regarding a refund. This experience was disappointing and far below the standards I expect from a Hampton Inn.

I checked into room 407 and upon getting into bed I discovered that there was urine in the bed. I felt wetness near my feet, pulled the blanket, sheets, and matress cover back. To my horror the mattress was soaked with what smells strongly of urine. We were promptly moved to a new room and we appreciate that. The young lady at the front desk was responsive and super kind. Thank you. I received a call back from the GM and was basically blamed me for it. As it was stated he knows for a fact that this was not the case as he trains his staff well and that in his opinion guests typically do this for a refund. I want to make clear that I absolutely do not want a refund as we did get another room and stayed there that night. I am completely disappointed, not upset, but disappointed because really all I wanted was someone to take accountability for this. Instead I was blamed. I wouldn't advise anyone not to stay there, what I do advise is for cooperate to reconsider whom they have represent them. I will also be reaching out to cooperate. Please see pictures.

Absolutely not. I have stayed at this property before and it was fine. Nothing to write home about but again no major issues to report until today. I made a reservation as I always do on the Hilton app. The app notified me I was able to check in and select a room which I went ahead and did as I have in the past. Today I get a voicemail from the property asking to call them back. When I called them back I got an earful from the front desk woman because apparently I wasn’t allowed to check in and select a room despite the app allowing me to do so. I explained to her that the app allowed me to and that I always do that and have done so in the past at this same property. She proceeds to in so many words call me a liar and say it isn’t possible when again it absolutely is. The entire interaction was so off putting and uncomfortable. She made me feel uncomfortable even coming in for the stay. I late cancelled my reservation after calling the Hilton 800 number and upon them contacting the property to cancel the reservation the same woman proceeds to tell the corporate customer service agent that “that isn’t how the interaction went down”. I told the agent I’m uncomfortable and I absolutely refuse to stay there. I booked another room at another Hilton property, checked in, and got my digital key in all of 5 minutes total. If there’s a disconnect between Hilton and their apps check in policies and the individual property that shouldn’t be put on the customer. Felt like I was in the principals office getting an earful for checking in on the app. Do better. It’s disturbing to have this level of crap customer service.
