***Mold • Mildew • Mycotoxins*** I hope this review helps anyone with asthma, allergies, mold sensitivity, chronic illness or who just cares about their health. We are currently dealing with confirmed hidden mold in our rental condo that has made my children and me very sick. My fiancé booked a hotel to get us out of the toxic environment. Two nights ago, we stayed at a different Hampton Inn and woke up feeling noticeably better—the air was clean, the room was fresh, and the experience was excellent. This location was the complete opposite. The entire building smells like it has been under dirty water. The hallways are terrible but the rooms are worse. The room felt damp, heavy, and unbearably musty. The air quality was so poor that all night I experienced heart palpitations, chest tightness, coughing fits, headache, ringing in my ears, and a heavy-inflamed feeling. The AC unit smelled bad and was extremely loud, but turning it off made the room hot and suffocating. Cleanliness was below average—everything felt sticky with a film on it, and there were unexplained marks on the lamp, in the bathroom and on surfaces. The sheets and bedding looked and felt clean. The parking lot was overcrowded with construction and utility trucks, leaving minimal space for guests. The contrast between this stay and the previous Hampton Inn was shocking. For families dealing with mold illness—often displaced, losing belongings, and navigating serious health issues—safe, clean spaces are critical. This hotel is not one of them. This stay worsened our symptoms, kept us awake struggling to breathe, and set us back during an already devastating time. I strongly urge management to address the moisture and air quality issues here. For those with health sensitivities, this is NOT a safe place to stay.

One of the few hotels where I checked out immediately when I‘ve entered the room. Room smelled after chloride and there is no window to open, heating was loud but cold, it is just sooo old. Moved on to the Hilton which is part of the same building - which is not perfect but way better. The clerk Peter at the Hampton was very, very friendly. Offered a different room (which looked the same) and helped me to cancel for free. This is where service helped a lot. Thank you!

We were unfortunate to have a room that bordered the steps. The elevators are slow and it seems as though most people use steps from 1st to 2nd floor. Constant flow of foot traffic that went till 11 pm and started again around 6 am. Was not able to sleep in as intended by the hotel stay. It was nice however being able to utilize the adjacent and attached bar from the Hilton to enjoy a dessert and drink.

Outstanding Service and Genuine Care! During my recent stay I misplaced an item that was very important to me. I was truly impressed by the exceptional service from Guillermo who went above and beyond to help me find it. He took the time to carefully retrace my steps, coordinated with the housekeeping team, and personally followed up until the item was located. What stood out most was Guillermo's genuine kindness, professionalism, and commitment to guest satisfaction. It’s rare to see someone take such personal responsibility to ensure a guest leaves happy. Thanks to his dedication, my stay ended on a wonderful note. I’m extremely grateful for his help and will definitely be returning to — not just for the beautiful property, but because of amazing staff like Guillermo.
