  Rooms were very clean, comfortable bed, water pressure in shower was strong. Good selections available at complimentary breakfast. Staff very friendly.

  My wedding was in Sep 2025 in Andover NJ. I worked with Jessica Cammarato in the months leading up to that date in order to plan for friends and family and my husband and I to stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Newton. Jessica was awesome! From my first encounter with her over the phone she was friendly, professional, courteous, accommodating, and very forthcoming with information. Everyone that called to make a reservation was also treated with courtesy and enthusiasm. The rooms were sparkling clean, the beds very comfortable, and breakfast the next morning was very good with an assortment to choose from. Jessica helped me with referrals for reliable, fair-priced vendors for guest transportation to and from the wedding venue, printing of information cards for inclusion in welcome bags, as well as distribution of welcome bags. She arranged for a reserved private breakfast room the morning after the wedding which was hosted by friendly and attentive staff. She was a great communicator throughout the planning stages! The hotel is easy to get to, and conveniently located just walking distance across the parking lot to an Applebee’s restaurant! A perfect spot for some of us to gather at after the wedding festivities ended. Ancillary staff at this hotel were also courteous and pleasant! My entire experience with Holiday Inn Express, Newton was wonderful! If you’re looking for a fair-priced, sparkling clean, well-appointed hotel, managed by great staff, this would be the one to choose. Thank you, Jessica!! You helped make our wedding weekend all that we hoped it would be!!

  Look no further than this hotel if you’re getting married in the NJ area. They were absolutely great to work with. I worked with Jessica on my room blocks for my wedding for two years and she was the best always answering questions, helping us and she really is super sweet and does a great job of keeping you on track for the big day and rooms. The rooms were super clean and big everyone was happy with the rooms 10 out 10 recommend

  Great and clean hotel very close to our venue for a wedding block! We worked with Jessica to make an enhanced breakfast option in their conference room for our guests, and she was communicative and so easy to work with! She suggested wonderful additions to the impressive amount of food they already have included in their standard offerings for a group breakfast- our guests kept telling us how abundant and tasty the food options were! Our attendant was amazing, and replenished the good often to make sure it was available for our guests. (Tip: Highly recommend working with Jessica to add a lox plate to the breakfast, some of the best lox I've had!)

  If you plan on partying and being up all night, it’s a nice place to stay. Late in the evening, people arrive back to the hotel after attending weddings and are extremely loud. The hotel does nothing about the volume and the people hanging out in the hallways until 400 in the morning. We even contacted the front desk and they apologized and said there was nothing they could do ‘they should quiet down soon’. If you are part of the group, I’m sure it’s a lot of fun. The rooms are average to nice and there is an average amount of food and shopping options in the areas for last minute needs.
