If there's a medium place this is it, a hotel so uniquely mid that I actually feel compelled to put pen to paper about it. There were no PROBLEMS per se; The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean. Everything you need out of a hotel. I'm not in the business of giving less than 5 stars to something that fulfills its purpose. However, the whole vibe seemed, like, masterfully curated to be extremely average. It was impressive.
We are IHG Rewards members so we were given a brown paper gift bag at check-in to thank us for our loyalty. When we opened it up in our room, it contained two plastic bottles of water. Fine, I suppose. I certainly hadn't been expecting to be given a gift, and any gift is better than no gift, but as I am a regular guy, I do not really need my water bagged. Why go to the trouble to place water into a paper bag and then staple that bag? It's all going the same place. I tried placing a late-night Domino's order 5 different times, like I literally put my face ID into Apple Pay, and the order kept kicking me out. I was so worried that the next morning I was gonna see hundreds of dollars of Dominos charges in my checking account and a mountain of pizzas outside our door. I realized later that it was because you can't order delivery to your room at this place. Whoopsies!
We slept fine, no problems there, and when we woke up we decided we wanted to see if the hotel had a breakfast. We went downstairs and found a breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant. Not complimentary, $19 per person. Not a problem, I didn't do any research on it beforehand. But this is where it gets REALLY mid. There were waffles served at the breakfast, but it wasn't the standard 3-star hotel thing where there's batter and a waffle maker and you get to do it yourself. It was just a bunch of soggy eggo waffles in a covered serving dish. Steamed, not toasted, seemingly. There were TVs in the restaurant, but the only thing on them was a Boston Celtics documentary with no audio and no subtitles. I think Bill Walton was teaching them to drop acid at a Grateful Dead show or something. There was music playing in the restaurant but it was exclusively Late 90s/Early 2000s butt rock, like Creed and Nickelback. In the lobby we saw this lady who had been on our Spirit Airlines flight from O'Hare (somehow less mid). At the airport, she was really surprised and torn up about a seat auction, either because she didn't know it was an auction, or she didn't know what an auction was. I truly don't know which. She had placed a bid and received confirmation that her bid had been accepted, and I guess she thought that meant that she had bought the seat. The flight attendants were trying to explain to her that, no, it was just a bid in an auction, and she was NOT understanding what they were saying. But hey, she may not have understood the concept of an auction, however I didn't understand the concept of you-can't-order-Domino's-to-your-room, so I guess we all have our things. That has nothing to do with the hotel, it's just goofy.
If you stay here, you can sleep when you're tired, eat when you're hungry, hydrate when you're an IHG Rewards member, and watch all channels of basic cable. Dude. I wanna tell you about the movie scene we accidentally stumbled upon on Showtime 2 while scrolling through channels, but it's too graphic for a Google Review I think. It involved Elijah Wood and some other things I can't get into.
Anyway.
Stay here if you want, it's fine. Enjoy the adequacy of the service. Be stunned by the mediocrity of the vibes. I'll never forget this.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn and had a great experience from start to finish. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere as soon as I walked in.
A special thank you to Bassant for making my check-in process smooth and stress-free. She was professional, friendly, and very helpful. She answered all my questions clearly, made sure I had everything I needed, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable. Her positive attitude really set the tone for my entire stay.
Overall, the customer service was excellent, and Bassant’s assistance truly made a difference in my experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this location to others.

Gary our driver set the stage for excellent service as he transported us from the airport to the hotel.
Benjamin at the front desk was outstanding. Smiling, laughing with us. Choose a great room for us. Got us set up with transportation to our ship. He was fantastic.
Then into TEDS for a quick bite to eat, where Niomi was so extremely patient and kind. Just a sweetheart. Richard the manager stopped by to insure our food was acceptable and also give us some suggestions for dinner if we wanted to eat away from the hotel.
Don’t hesitate to stay at the Holiday Inn Airport.

Be careful with these scammers! I made a booking via booking.com and since my flight was cancelled of the blizzard I contacted them to cancel my reservation. They didn’t cancel my reservation eventhough it’s been on time, they didn’t reply to any messages and charged my credit card for way more than the reservation amount. They continue to ghost any message. There is absolutely no customer service at all. I’m claiming a police report for credit card fraud with this hotel

I'd like to come on here and say what a refreshing pleasure it was to deal with Kristen. I had to plan a stay for approximately 150 people. Kristen was SO RESPONSIVE compared to the other hotels in the area. She made the process so much easier. I had to go back and forth with room changes and she answered the phone EVERY time at all hours of the day. Kayla at the desk was also helpful when I drove their to pick up the keys. What an absolute pleasure to deal with competent staff. Will only do business with them from now on
