I have stayed at this hotel numerous of times. A few rooms have had stained floors and ceilings . Disappointed they don’t have a breakfast for the price they’re asking for a nights stay. The lobby and the mainland are updated & the arcade is awesome.
- NNNorvellaDec 1, 20252.0I grew up in Manahawkin and stayed at the Holiday Inn over Thanksgiving. The location is convenient, however the hotel fell far below expectations. Firstly, we booked a king room online which wasn’t accommodated. We accepted the double room and upon entering the room saw that the carpet had stains and one of the bed comforters had some sort of red/brownish stain on it. Gross albeit tiny, so we looked past this and slept in the other bed. However our experience worsened once we received “clean” facecloths with makeup stains, and “fresh” bed linens with tears. When we asked the front desk for a new set of linens at 10a Thanksgiving morning, she acknowledged the request and jotted something down. We were surprised to return to our room at 9p to find a note slipped under the door stating no housekeeping for the holiday. While holiday time off is understandable, this should’ve been communicated verbally when we asked for the service to be done in the morning. They did end up sending up a kind housekeeper to change the linens shortly thereafter. Very disappointing stay all around - will not be returning.
