  I stayed at the linden holiday inn express for 5 days with my husband and our 2yr and 4yr old boys. We stayed on the 1st floor and the room was so nice. It had tall ceilings modern decor. From the time you step into the hotel it’s very clean and new looking. All the staff was very nice and accommodating. This location is anywhere from 25min to 1hr from Staten Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. This location is next to two shopping centers. Walmart is on the same side as the hotel. Target is right across the street with ShopRite. If you’re on a budget and don’t want to eat at the many locations that’s right in front of the hotel. Then head over to ShopRite they have a big hot food bar and also offer a whole chicken and 3sides for $15. There’s a gym at the hotel. There’s also a LA Fitness in the shopping center less than a 5min walk. The breakfast was very good. Sausage, potatoes, pancakes, eggs, assorted breads, Cinnabuns, cereal. My 4year old was looking forward to waffles but accepted the pancakes gladly. I heard some guy complaining breakfast was limited. It’s a hotel and the breakfast is complementary. It definitely covered all the basics of breakfast. If you’re looking for a gourmet meal then you need to go pay thousands of dollars at a fancy hotel and pay for your breakfast. The only complaint I have about breakfast is there need to be at least two staff members working breakfast. It’s to big of a job for one person. Especially on days when the hotel is packed. Other than that I had a wonderful time. I felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. This will be my go to when I’m in town.

  It is newer hotel with big rooms and plenty of free parking. Continental breakfast with good variety. Only drawback is not lot of space to sit when it's crowded. Very near to Linden train station.

  Obviously its not necessarily luxurious, but its quite new/recently renovated, very clean, and the staff was professional. Can't ask for more than that at this price point. Free parking and breakfast is a big bonus too.

  This one of the best hotels i stayed in it regarding the price. The price very good relatively to everything you got . The hotel is new and rooms are wide and clean . The room was big with 2 queen beds . The location was perfect. You are in a safe area near to a shopping plaza , restaurants that is 2 mins walk , and Walmart is 5 mins walk . You are close to New York and Jerseys mills outlet . I will definitely stay here again when I visit the USA. Also, the best perk of the hotel that there are free amenities in the reception. You can ask for toothbrushes, hairbrushes.. any thing you need you will find at the reception. Also , the hotel has one of the best coffee machines available 24/7 ( costa coffee beans ) . You will save a lot of coffee money . They also decorated for Christmas which was really nice . I really had the best stay. All staff are more than perfect and they definitely deserve a raise for their efforts.
