If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you’re a tourist this is not a good location for you. You will have zero easy access to transportation. They love to say they are close. They aren’t. We had an AWFUL experience with this hotel regarding the need for two cribs. We currently have two foster babies that must be separated (per rules) into their own individual crib. I included this request in October when I made the reservation. I called Dec 21st to verify this would not be a problem bc I did not want to run into any problems when we arrived. I was told it would be fine. We arrive and get ONE crib. Mind you, it is Christmas Day. No access to anywhere we could even find something to hold us over for the night bc places were closed for the holiday. We were really put out and I am beyond angry that this hotel has not taken any accountability. We could have easily changed our hotel stay if they had just been honest from the get go. I currently have been charged the full Price of our stay which is almost $2500.00. Beware if you cancel they will NOT STICK to their own booking policy. Their booking policy states if you cancel you will be charged for the first night. As of right now, we have been charged for ALL of it. Read that again…ALL of it. We ended up losing a whole day of our vacation for having to load up our whole family and find a property able and willing to accommodate both of our babies, our two bio kids, and my husband and myself. The management needs a lesson on professionalism and accountability. Not one apology for putting our family through this. No interpersonal communication skills. Loved to talk but didn’t love to listen. Hung up on me multiple times and then would call me right back. She was off her rocker! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Take your money to a property who cares about their patrons. Find somewhere who will listen to your concerns and be eager to help where they can. This place lies and steals. And the management is the poorest of poor.

Family trip that needed comfort, value, and a bit of calm—and this hotel delivered. We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Jersey City North Hoboken with kids and had a pleasant, hassle-free experience. The location worked really well for us: close enough to NYC for sightseeing, yet far from the constant noise and rush. The hotel felt safe, clean, and family-friendly, and the overall stay was comfortable and affordable. Some quick notes for others: * Great location, easy access to NYC but away from the chaos * Good connectivity to NYC if you have your own car, but if you are dependent on public transport please do check the walking distance from bus or train station to plan better especially if you are travelling during winter. * Affordable pricing for the area * Clean rooms, hallways, and common areas * Front desk staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with questions * Free parking on site, which is a big plus * Gas station and convenience stores nearby for last-minute needs * Comfortable beds and quiet rooms * Free breakfast with hot and cold options * Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel * Fitness center available * 24-hour front desk support Overall, a solid Holiday Inn Express experience. Would happily stay again with family.

I would like to share my experience when my wife(71 yo) and I (73yo) checked in last dec 11, 2025. The front office was so rude. She was a middle aged woman named Sonia. She should Not be in the hospitality business. i reacted to her rudeness as she ordered me to sit down. I requested for an early check and we have been. Told to wait until 1:30 if she could accommodate us. ( we were there since 11 am.). At about 1:30 pm my wife stood up and went to the front desk ask her if our request could be granted. she talked to housekeeping on the radio. After the call, she didn't give me us a feedback and instead, she ORDERED me to sit down while she talked to another guest. That rudeness was uncalled for. She could have just just given me a feedback politely and I would have sat down.

I stayed here with my family just for one night to enjoy NYC and have a close place to sleep after exploring the city. My son left his Nintendo switch 2 the morning of checkout in the bed. I called the very same day as check out to see if it was found. Guest services was extremely rude and not helpful at all leading to him hanging up on me mid conversation. I called back the next day and now they couldn’t even find my reservation or proof of stay. These people are thief’s!!! DO NOT STAY HEREEEE!!!!!
