My son recently transferred to a prep school in Jersey City, and while I am here staff has made me feel at home. This will become my home away from home on weekends. Kale embodies hospitality, always friendly and making sure to exceed expectations. The guest rooms are great, beautiful views of NYC, plenty of parking, and quiet.

It was my first time to visit NJ. Staffs were helpful to help me to get to Manhattan. Location was very good to approach to the Newport. Xiomara genuinely assisted us when we asked to clean the room at unusual time; our room was skipped to be cleaned despite of no signs on door. Xiomara never showed uncomfortable and willing to help as with delight manner. We wanna stay here again if we back to NJ.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and couldn’t be more impressed with the level of service. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere made for a very enjoyable experience.
I especially want to recognise Latoya, who was absolutely outstanding. She was extremely helpful, professional, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, she went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of and that I felt welcome. Her attention to detail and positive attitude truly made a difference and elevated the entire experience.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be staying here again.

After a long day in the city with small children, we returned to the hotel completely worn out. The moment we walked in, Kale greeted us with genuine kindness and a warm smile. Within seconds, we knew we had chosen the right hotel. What stood out most was how natural it all felt. Nothing was forced. Kale was clearly born for hospitality.
We spent only about five minutes in his presence, yet his service left a lasting impression. He retrieved our luggage that had been checked earlier and even helped me into my backpack, a small but thoughtful gesture that felt like something from a bygone era. He pressed the elevator button, held the door for our family, and throughout it all remained attentive to our children, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
He did so many small, thoughtful things that it is hard to remember them all. It genuinely felt like being in the presence of someone who embodies the very spirit of hospitality. His demeanor, awareness, and manners are not things that can be taught.
Kale is destined for great things in this industry. Please challenge him, support him, and when opportunities arise, consider him for advancement. It would not surprise us in the least if one day we splurge on a stay at the Waldorf and find Kale managing the property!

Denigrante, llegamos al check-in para nuestras 7 noches y nos dicen “que no existe nuestra reserva” habiendo reservado con 11 meses de antelación y recibiendo todos los mensajes con n° de reserva y dándonos la bienvenida. Debido a la gran diferencia de precio entre lo que reservamos y la fecha actual, nos quisieron cancelar la reserva (para su beneficio) echando la culpa a Booking. Tras larga espera y dura negociación por la situación dijeron que “justo” han recibido una cancelación de las mismas noches que habíamos reservado por lo que hicimos una nueva reserva con la chica de la recepción a un nombre diferente de la anterior. Resulta que tras el disgusto y tensión subimos a la habitación y en la pantalla de bienvenida estaba escrito el nombre de la PRIMERA reserva. Es totalmente inaceptable este tipo de actuaciones por conseguir mayor beneficio económico por encima de la integridad de las personas, obviando la situación y no dando ninguna solución por derivarnos a otro hotel de su cadena. Inaceptable e inadmisible.
