- DOdestiny orsini2 days ago5.0my first time here at “canopy” and i must say it is such a gorgeous hotel! chic but elegant from the inside out. the staff was extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. the rooms are comfortable and very eye pleasing. they have a restaurant and bar on site. good breakfast in the morning. parking garage across the street which was convenient. will be coming back to this gem

It's perfectly located steps away from Grove St. PATH station, just one stop over from WTC in NYC. The staff is wonderful and helpful (special shout-out to Ernest, he's a sweetheart). Beds are comfy, nice gym, great dining area and cozy lobby with live music during select evenings. Love the interior design too. We'll keep coming back!

Our room wasn't ready so they took our bags aside and labeled them for later. We got back after the festivities around 1:30am, our room was STILL not ready. We were told by the front desk that it was marked as not cleaned, but she thought that it was mis-labeled and that it had been cleaned, so she gave us our key cards and sent us up. The room was, in fact, NOT CLEAN. The bed was clearly just slept in, and someone's lunch box was left behind. It was another 90 MINUTES until it was ready for us, and that's after calling the desk and asking for an update after an hour. We didn't get into our room until AFTER 3AM. It was ridiculous. They comped our room only after we complained at check out. The only thing offered the night before was a free breakfast. There were three weddings in town and this hotel was SO ill prepared. We were not the only people who had serious issues.
