Clean rooms, but a little musky smelling, due to the windows facing into the hall, so you cannot get fresh air into the room. Doors used to open to the outside, but a renovation enclosed all the rooms for better security. Plus for me, but a con for others, the hvac fan is very loud.

Hard to beat the value for New Jersey. But it's just a place to sleep. A good one for a very reasonable price.

One of the worst experiences ive ever had at a hotel. Staff was very rude, rooms were awkward and small and half the stuff in our room was broken. No towel racks in the bathrooms, they were ripped of the walls.

Terrible experience. Paid $700 for two nights and it was a disaster from the start. Shower was broken, toilet didn’t flush, and even after multiple complaints, it was never fixed. No housekeeping showed up the entire time. Vending machines were empty, and the only drinks available were overpriced ones from the restaurant next door. One machine even had expired soda. Worst part? The staff clearly didn’t care. Rude, unhelpful, and no manager available. Just handed a business card and sent on my way. We were offered a room change, but moving a family of four mid-stay wasn’t realistic. Overall, this place was a mess. Would not recommend to anyone.

Our Unsatisfactory stay at the Holiday Inn Hazlet 8/14-8/22 We were staying at the Holiday Inn Hazlet when my husband suffered a serious fall. He was under a very dark pergola. My husband was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He was admitted to the hospital. He had emergency surgery to his leg and ankle the following morning. The hotel desk staff informed us that the most they were authorized to offer us was a discount on rooms for our extended stay. I accepted the offer of the discount because I was told that was the most they could offer. I have reached out to the IHG headquarters customer relations department twice in attempt to work out appropriate compensation. Both times I was assured the hotel would call me directly. The hotel has never called me. This hotel: minimized my husband’s injury to IHG headquarters falsified information in-terms of posted patio/pergola hours to IHG headquarters reported that we were very happy with the discount to IHG headquarters. leave the access doors to the outdoor courtyard unlocked 24/7 do not have staff approach their guests to either warn them of the risk or to ask them to relocate indoors never offered to make our extended stay complimentary, since the injury that occurred on the hotel property. This treatment is atrocious. Attached are the photos of the patio/pergola and the signage actually posted.
