I believe his name was Gerald at the front desk he greeted us with a warm smile and was so polite and welcoming. My Great Aunt’s room was perfect and accommodating for a woman of her age (she’s 95!), with everything she needed for a comfortable stay. Since she’s not much of a morning person, I went down to get breakfast for her and I was pleasantly surprised by the setup! This was hands down the best hotel continental breakfast I’ve seen so far. There was no shortage of food, and anytime something ran out, it was immediately replenished. Najah, from the kitchen staff, was so kind and helpful her smile lit up the whole room! You could tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and that energy made the whole atmosphere even more welcoming. Now let’s talk about the grits I’ve never seen grits on a hotel breakfast menu before, but when they said “hearty,” they meant it! I expected something watered down, but oh no these grits looked (and tasted) like they came straight out of my granny’s kitchen. I met so many wonderful people this morning, and I’m so glad I decided to go down to eat and socialize. Special thanks to Melissa, the manager, who went above and beyond for my Great Aunt. She took the initiative to move her from the second floor down to the first, making it easier and safer for her to get around. That level of care gave my family such peace of mind, knowing someone was keeping an eye out for her comfort. Overall, our stay has been excellent so far from the staff’s warmth to the thoughtful service. We are extremely happy and grateful for the hospitality we’ve received!
