  DO NOT BOOK HERE — especially not for your wedding. My sister and her fiancé secured a confirmed room block for their wedding guests and signed a contract with this hotel well in advance. Guests booked their rooms and made travel arrangements based on that legally binding agreement. Less than a month before the wedding, the hotel gave their reserved rooms away to another party — despite having a signed contract in place. The added stress at such a critical time was completely unnecessary and unacceptable. This was a direct violation of the contractual agreement. As a result of their decision, the bride, groom, and multiple guests were left scrambling to find last-minute accommodations during what should have been one of the most important and joyful weekends of their lives. The chaos this caused was entirely avoidable and falls squarely on the hotel. A wedding requires months of careful planning, coordination, and trust. To disregard a signed contract and prioritize another group demonstrates a shocking lack of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. If you are planning a major life event and need reliability, do not take the risk here. This establishment cannot be trusted to honor its commitments — even when those commitments are in writing.

  Do not book here! I am extremely disappointed with my experience. My fiancé and I signed a formal, legally binding contract with this hotel to secure a room block for our wedding guests months in advance. With only 37 days left until our wedding, we were suddenly informed that the hotel was canceling our contracted room block in order to accommodate another party. This was not a tentative hold — it was a signed agreement that we fulfilled. Releasing a fully contracted wedding block weeks before the event to prioritize someone else demonstrates a complete disregard for contractual obligations and a serious lack of professionalism and integrity. What makes this even worse is that the hotel team has made no meaningful effort to take accountability or offer appropriate compensation for the disruption this has caused. After initially notifying us, all of our follow-up emails have gone unanswered. Our guests are traveling from across the country and made arrangements based on this agreement. Canceling a confirmed wedding room block at the last minute has caused unnecessary stress, financial inconvenience, and frantic scrambling less than six weeks before one of the most important days of our lives. Weddings are planned months — even years — in advance. If this hotel is willing to cancel a signed contract with 37 days’ notice for its own convenience, you should seriously reconsider trusting them with your event. We are beyond disappointed and would strongly urge couples to take their business elsewhere.

  Do Not Book Here! Very unreliable and unprofessional. I was booked under a wedding room block at this hotel and was extremely disappointed to find out that the hotel canceled the rooms with little to no notice, less than 30 days before the wedding. As an out-of-town guest, I relied on those arrangements when making my travel plans. Having the hotel cancel the block so close to the event created unnecessary stress and forced guests to scramble to find last-minute accommodations — often at higher prices and with limited availability. Weddings are major life events that are planned far in advance. It’s frustrating and unprofessional for a hotel to back out of confirmed arrangements, especially when guests are depending on them. I would strongly caution anyone booking rooms for a wedding or special event to think twice before relying on this hotel.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel & Suites From the moment we arrived at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel & Suites, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted us and immediately made us feel at home. The hotel’s location is ideal, just off Route 46 with easy access to I-80 and convenient to both Newark and New York City. Whether traveling for business or leisure, its proximity to major transit routes makes it a great base for exploring the area. Our room was immaculately clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding, large HDTV, and reliable free Wi-Fi. The thoughtful layout provided a comfortable workspace and plenty of room to relax. Housekeeping maintained the room to an exceptional standard throughout our stay. We enjoyed taking advantage of the hotel’s amenities — the indoor pool and well-equipped fitness center were terrific, and the on-site restaurant and bar offered delicious meals and attentive service. Everything was delivered with professionalism and genuine hospitality. Perhaps most notable was the high level of service from every team member we encountered. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and questions or requests were handled promptly and courteously. Overall, our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel & Suites was outstanding. Whether you’re in the area for work or leisure, this hotel provides comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality that truly exceeds expectations. We would gladly stay here again!
