  Staff stole card information and charged my acct a month after my stay. After shutting down my card and spending 6 hours on the phone I was able to get a refund. Staff was rude and dismissive nor did they offer anything for the inconvenience will never stay at an IHG property again

  Stayed here for the first time this past weekend while attending a nearby wedding, and unfortunately had a very unsettling experience. I’ve stayed at several IHG properties over the years, and it’s typically my preferred hotel brand, which made this experience especially disappointing. On Saturday morning, we found a roach on the nightstand in our room. We immediately reported it to the front desk. To their credit, the attendant was kind and responsive. She moved us to a new room and provided breakfast vouchers. We were also told that a manager would follow up with us on Monday. However, we have not received any follow-up. Due to our schedule, we didn’t have time to relocate hotels, but even after switching rooms, the situation made the remainder of our stay uncomfortable. Where there is one roach, there is usually more, and it’s hard to feel at ease after an experience like that. Front desk service was appreciated, but cleanliness, quality control, and lack of follow-through from management are major concerns. This stay fell well below expectations for the brand.

  My experience at this hotel was horrible from the minute we walked into the room. The room we were assigned was a dirty room with unmade beds. The fridge was leaking onto the rug and therefore left a moldy smell. The motor of the fridge was also extremely loud. When I tried calling the front desk I was left on hold for over 7 minutes. The service, and rooms were horrible and I will never stay there again!

  I was incredibly pleased with my recent stay at the Crowne in Edison. I was a little early and was exhausted, and the woman at the front desk, I believe her name was Danisha, checked me in expeditiously with a very professional and warm demeanor. She also ensured my stay would count towards my IHG rewards. And she accommodated both me and my service dog with kindness. It was my first time staying at the Crowne and it was a very positive experience. Lastly, I was also impressed with the housekeeping. I believe Mary was the housekeeper who helped me find my room. Thank you to the staff and I look forward to staying again soon!

  Absolutely Disgusting – This Place is a Biohazard I recently had the misfortune of staying at the this terrible hotel, and it was hands-down the most TERRIBLE hotel experience of my life. This so-called “upscale” property is nothing but a filthy, neglected dump that should be shut down until it’s properly cleaned and staffed by competent people. Upon checking into my room, I discovered BLOOD STAINS ON THE SHEETS, fresh enough to be horrifying. When I pulled back the bedding further, there was URINE SOAKED INTO THE MATTRESS, leaving a yellowed, foul-smelling stain that had clearly been there for who knows how long. The bathroom was equally revolting!! PUBIC HAIRS in the shower, like housekeeping hadn’t bothered to clean at all. Pictures attached are only a few I took. REVOLTING!! The floors throughout the room were dirty and grimy. It felt like walking into a crime scene rather than a paid accommodation. I immediately reported this nightmare to the front desk after checking (March 17), and the person working then said “I’ll upgrade you” and moved my family and I to a new room. It was NOT an upgrade. Same exact room!! Little that did, smelly and disgusting! Upon checkout on March 19, The manager on duty that morning was utterly despicable. Zero empathy, zero accountability. She barely acknowledged the biohazards in the room and offered the most insulting “solution” imaginable, a free breakfast. A FREE BREAKFAST? And a “discount” on our next visit, for putting my family and I in a room with blood, urine, and someone else’s pubes. Then proceeded to tell us “since you’re never coming back, I can’t do anything else for you”. That’s not compensation, that’s an insult and proof of how little this hotel cares about their guests, their safety and basic hygiene standards. This level of negligence is unacceptable anywhere, let alone at a branded hotel like Crowne Plaza. I won’t take this review down until that incompetent manager is FIRED!!!! and the property undergoes a serious deep clean and staff retraining. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Your health is worth more than whatever deal they’re offering. 0/10, would rather sleep in my car.
