Expected a little more. Only 3 or 4 attractions, rest was just different rooms to play lego. Would probably go back, but will try Legoland first.
We had sooo much fun. The minifigure is not necessary if your kid is only interested in building.

Adults cannot enter without a child, and they don't make this clear
I was really looking forward to visiting Legoland. I bought my tickets online in advance, even purchased Lego sets and merchandise ahead of time out of excitement. I showed up on the weekend ready to enjoy the experience — and was turned away at the door because I didn't have a child with me.
Apparently, adults are not allowed to enter without being accompanied by a minor. I understand this is a policy, and I even understand why it exists. What I cannot accept is how poorly this is communicated.
This restriction only appears buried in the Terms & Conditions. Nobody reads the full T&Cs when buying a ticket — that's just reality. There is no visible warning on the purchase page, no checkbox asking "Are you visiting with a child under [X] age?", no pop-up, no banner, nothing. A simple required field during checkout — "Confirm you will be accompanied by a minor" — would have saved me an entirely wasted trip.
I lost money on tickets, wasted time traveling, and left deeply disappointed. Not because of the park itself, but because of a completely avoidable failure in communication. If this policy exists, it should be front and center — not hidden where no one will find it.
Fix your checkout process. Your visitors deserve better.

Staff has NO idea about Gold Pass benefits - Wasted my time and gas
I am writing this out of pure frustration. We visited LEGOLAND Discovery Center NJ on Saturday, April 4th, around 4:30 PM. We are Gold Pass holders, and I specifically told the staff that we have Gold Passes. However, the employee insisted it was a "blackout day" and refused to let us in.
After driving over an hour to get there, we had to turn around and go home. When I checked the policy later, I found that the April 1-9 blackout dates apply ONLY to the "Sunday-Friday Pass," not the Gold Pass.
I clearly stated we were Gold Pass holders, yet the staff failed to verify the correct policy and ruined our family's weekend. We wasted more than 2 hours on the road and gas money for nothing. It’s ridiculous that Gold members—who pay more for fewer restrictions—are being treated this way due to a total lack of staff training. Highly disappointed.
Despite that, I have no choice but to give five stars because Legoland has brought so much joy to my family.
I've been 3 times over the years and we won't be going back any time soon. The staff was pretty friendly but the place seems like it needs some TLC. It's feeling a little run down. The wands on the initial ride don't work, no one was helping with the laser experience so kids were just playing with the buttons and there were very few ducks for the fishing game in the duplo area. My kids were very disappointed. There was also a lot of signs for a car racing thing at the creative zone but when we went there, it was just crayons and minifig coloring pages. We also bought the mini figs at the entrance and couldn't find anywhere to trade them? Also the LEGO store was so disappointing. It was poorly stocked and the Pick a Brick area was basically empty. Overall pretty sad experience
