  Stayed at this particular hotel from Sunday April 5th 2026 to Tuesday April 7th 2026 for two days of business that I had to tend to in the area. So, I checked in, in the early evening of Sunday April 5th 2026 & when I arrived to greet those at the front desk & to make them aware of the fact that I have a reservation & that I was looking to check in for the evening; the young woman who was working the front desk that at that time, briefly looked at me as if I was lost or something (Which I found to be a bit odd) before she asked for my name & credentials so that she could get me all checked in. So, after I gave her all of my credentials plus a major credit card for incidentals, so that I could get checked in for my stay....Instead of using the tap feature on the card like a normal person, this lady was swiping the hell out of my "Chase Sapphire Preferred" Visa Signature Credit Card, which I didn't particularly like...But I didn't say anything about it & just let it go & that is because I knew that it was more to come later on down the line. I could just feel it based on this encounter. When I finally got upstairs to my assigned room which I think was on the third or fourth floor, after the check in process was complete, I noticed that I was assigned a room on the back side of the hotel facing the woods & had me wondering why she did that when the hotel was practically empty at that time. As for how the assigned room looked....I think that the room was overall in pretty good condition & still looked brand new. New carpet, new room furnishings & a new microwave & refrigerator. Also, you could tell that the bathroom was new as well & wasn't worn, which this was probably the only good thing about my stay & that was the overall good condition of the room. Another good thing about this particular hotel is that check out is at 12 Noon & not at 11AM like how it is at most hotels/motels. Another thing that happened during my stay, was the morning after I checked in for my two day stay, I was down in the hotel lobby waiting for an Uber & I asked the desk personnel what time does the breakfast start and end and instead of answering my question, this lady really asked me was I a guest at the hotel!!!!!! Which CLEARLY I am guest at the hotel, the hotel is out in the middle of nowhere!!!!! If I am not a guest at the hotel sitting in the lobby waiting on an Uber, then who am I?????? Where did I come from????? Did I just astroproject into the hotel lobby???? Of course I am a hotel guest!!!!! I didn't like this encounter at all, but I didn't say anything about it in protest & just kept it cool because I could tell that had I said anything about it, they would have made me out to be the angry Black Man from the hood, who is just mad for no reason & would have probably called the police. Those were the vibes that I got, from the lady who really asked me was I a hotel guest after I asked her about the breakfast, as if I just somehow wondered in from off of the streets, when the hotel is out in the middle of nowhere. Like, you know good & well that I am a hotel guest & just want to play mind games. Overall I give this property an "F" I didn't like my stay here & will never book this property again & I recommend that travelers to the area avoid this property at all costs because the customer service is just non-existent & they make you feel like you aren't welcome or you don't belong. That's it, that is my review of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carney's Point/Pennsville by IHG.

  Hotel is relatively clean, recently refurbished and super convenient to the Turnpike. Negatives are there is nothing really around the hotel and it is noisy - both in hearing other rooms and the highway. Bring the best earplugs you can get. Probably would not stay again due to the noise level.

  The good: Very pleasant and helpful young lady at check in; she immediately came to our room when we couldn’t use the TV due to “no signal “ message. Breakfast was good with many choices in the buffet The bad: police (or EMS) sirens woke me up twice during the night. The ugly: walked into the bathroom to take a shower to find a filthy toilet bowl with splashed feces 👇🏼 I asked for a clean room but nothing available. They had no housekeeper onsite at the time, so the lady at check in walked to our room and cleaned it. She was very apologetic, though it wasn’t her fault; management has a big problem if they hire staff that do not care about the cleanliness of the property!

  Do not book through Super.com. They scammed me just now for 2,900.00, and I now have no place to stay.
