Clean typical 3 Star hotel rooms. Nice staff, even let me borrow their broom to clean snow off my FL car.

When we arrived at the hotel it was a smooth check-in & our room was nice. When we walked past the pool, we noticed there was some white residue on top of the water. I called the front desk and she told me that it was concrete rising from the bottom of the pool. I asked if they could clean it and they had it cleaned by the end of the next day. Staff was friendly-especially the older gentleman who was bartending. The breakfast was good, although the potatoes were bland and sausage was a little pale. We would most likely stay at this hotel again.

There I was, alone on my anniversary again. My wife Edna passed away 3 years ago and my life has been cold ever since. Every year on our anniversary since her passing, I choose to get a hotel room for the night. The pain of not having Edna around hurts even more on the anniversary of the day I married my beloved. It was a perfect wedding. Now my house is filled with ghosts of her memories. Smiles don’t last long because of the grim realisation she is gone. I apologize, my head begins to wonder sometimes, so I digress. Our son hasn’t been the same since her passing either, we were not the Brady Bunch type of family, and the death of dear Edna did not help. Agh! A Brady Bunch reference, that show must have been before your time. Anyhoo, each year on this dreadful day since her passing I stay at a hotel. I’m trying to find the perfect one I can use ever year until me myself meet the end of my time on this earth. Which I hope is soon because I miss my Edna. I miss her so much. She was the best wife, Cook, mother and person. This year I checked into this establishment. As you can imagine I walked in a somber mood; because thoughts of my dear dear Edna swirled around my head like that cow in the movie twister. Where I was somber, I was greeted by a glistening angel of a woman at the front desk. Her name, I can remember like it was yesterday, Sarah. Sarah there was shining like an angel. She could tell my spirits were down. Her wonderful smile, her warming personality, along with her authentic compassion shined brighter than the sun after an eclipse. She is quite the looker too! I wondered about my son as she was helping me out like a rockstar. What a wonderful couple they would make. Anyway; after stellar service my time with Sarah came to an end. I left her with a smile and a think you, I might have winked too, my memory gets away from me sometime. Even if my room was not up to par, I would not even notice because of how wonderful Sarah was at the front desk. She was attentive and could tell there was something wrong, and stayed within her professional bounds while injecting her angelic character into our fleeting encounter that left me elated. God I miss my son. I just want him to know how sorry I am for everything, including THAT Thanksgiving. I checked out the next day, gave Sarah a wave goodbye and at that moment, when she waved I felt as if Edna herself was waving back to me. My son did say I can use his “e-mail” to type all this out. So I do hope that’s a step in the right direction in rekindling our family. Thank you. Anyhoo, there goes my mind again. That’s how important this was for me. For once I’m looking forward to my anniversary next year. 10/10

So the rooms are what you'd expect from Holiday Inn, decent size, fridge, iron with board, tub, pool, hot tub and outside courtyard. Breakfast is a buffet style that costs about $17 per person. There is a bar in the lobby, prices are pretty high. There than that good place, good location. Easy to get to but a bit of a drive to get basic amenities.
