Could not ask for a better location when you have to work outside to clear the heavy snow. Located right in the perfect spot for the men I worked with. Even with the 20 inches of snow plus, the morning I left, the owner even stopped what he was doing to help me shovel my car out and assist me in being able to leave. As I went to plow snow, I had no intentions of a bathing suit, but the pool being open during the day and hot tub is a true plus I will not forget to use next time. Truly appreciate the help from the owner and the great stay during our time of need.

I was here in early December for work. Work had chosen the hotel, not me. I know what to expect from these kind of places generally, but they are generally pretty good. The staff was pretty friendly except the guy who checked me in. This one guy should not be in hospitality, not welcoming at all. He really seems like he doesn’t want to be there. The best way to describe him is prissy, if you see him you’ll know who I’m taking about. It was cold outside but also cold in the hallways and lobby. They can’t figure out how to heat those things or they won’t heat them like a cheap uncle… Room was a decent size & clean but might have been the worst hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. I kept waking up every hour. It was really hard to get restorative sleep there. Doesn’t seem like they change out their beds enough. Whole place needs a facelift, very outdated. Didn’t have breakfast but dinner was mid. It’s corporate put together kits, nothing is made in house. Same menu at all the places. If you have a car just go somewhere else, Google places around. Final straw was I left my debit card there. The funny thing is I left it when I checked in. Anyone could have easily read the name, seen I was a current guest and called my room to let me know, not no. I didn’t notice it missing for about a week because Apple Pay and then I easily figured I left it there because it’s the only places Thats required a physical card. Anyway I call, they confirm. Want to get it sent to me, they said manager would call me. Manager never called so a few days later I follow up and they said they’d ask the manager. Then I’m told I have to go to a third party website to get it back. Long story short I had to pay a minimum of $40 to get my debit card sent to my house via UPS. They couldn’t get out it in an envelope and a stamp and send it over. I don’t suggest this place and I can tell you that our client stayed somewhere else and if you have to be in that area maybe you should look around. I also won’t be staying at a holiday inn anywhere. At the end of the day it’s a corporate chain which should provide consistency, and it’s not. Their policies have turned me off from the company, it’s no better than a motel 6 but at least you know what you’re getting with a motel 6 and they’ve actually been actively improving. The place has potential but they may need to have a regional manager come in and fix things. Otherwise it’s just a glorified truck stop.
