  💔 Ruined Valentine's Day: A Nightmare at Best Western Bordentown Inn I'm still fuming writing this review about the disaster that unfolded on Valentine's Day 2026 at Best Western Bordentown Inn. My husband and I arrived at the hotel expecting a romantic evening, only to be greeted by the sound of sirens and the sight of police and firemen swarming the premises. A trash fire on the second floor (3-4 doors down from our room) filled our room with black smoke, causing us to inhale toxic fumes and ruining our belongings. But what really takes the cake is the complete lack of communication and accountability from Best Western Bordentown Inn. No one from the hotel bothered to check on us or offer any explanation or apology. We've reported the incident to Booking.com, who have been responsive, but Best Western's corporate office has gone radio silent despite having a ticket number, they won't do anything about it but leave it up to the property. And to add an extra layer of absurdity, Best Western Bordentown Inn is now claiming they were never contacted by Booking.com or us about the incident. It's a blatant lie, and corporate is backing them up, refusing to take any responsibility. It's clear they don't care about guest safety or satisfaction. We're seeking compensation, but Best Western seems more interested in protecting their reputation than doing the right thing. If you value your sanity and your health, stay far, far away from Best Western Bordentown Inn. 1/5 stars, and that's being generous.

  SERVICE was great, especially by Candy who was mainly in charge of breakfast, and she was doing other duties as well (front desk, housekeeping, etc.) ROOM was okay - bed was comfy but heat/air conditioner repeatedly went off & needed to be restarted, finally had too much smoke and soot residue after a trash fire directly beneath our room 331 on 2/14/26 LOCATION was not good, only accessible to public transportation by 37-46 minute walk (which was very dangerous due to snow and ice conditions)

  Front staff was very nice and friendly. I was in the Jacuzzi queen room. It was very spacious and the bed was quite comfy. Unfortunately the jacuzzi jets were weak and didnt provide much of a massage. The water was nice a hot tho. I would not recommend if you want a jacuzzi.
