    If it wasn't for the service this would be 1 star. The rooms are in need of repair. Our toilet seat was peeling! Chips and stains everywhere, broken phone, and a smell that we couldn't quite place. The drip from the shower head kept waking me up. The pool, horrible. At only 3 feet you'd think it'd be cleaner, hot tub is warm at best and again chips and stains everywhere. The people working here, great. The housekeeping came with towels quickly as I was surprised by the lack of them when booking for 4 people and only two towels are there.

    Great location right off Route 9. Convenient to major highways and shopping. Bonus being right next to Dunkin!!!

    The beds were equivalent to sleeping on rocks, the pillows paper-thin. Couldn't even enjoy a swim; the pool was only 3 feet deep, the hot tub big enough for 3 people max without sitting on top of each other. The 3rd person was pretty much sitting on the hot tub stairs. The parking lot was a total mess; I had to park in Dunkin' Donuts’ lot because the hotel didn't have many parking spaces. Breakfast was mediocre; I understand why it was complimentary. The pancakes were as super thin. Hot water in the shower was lukewarm; they only supplied 2 towels for a room that sleeps 4 people. The one nice thing is they supply Dove soap, but the lock on the shower wall was broken, making it difficult to actually get the pump top to work. I told the lady at the front desk about it, and she did offer to have it fixed, but everyone had already showered. All in all, I would have had a better experience sleeping in my truck. Next time I’ll be looking into a Marriott hotel.

    If Jackie isn’t a manager, she should be. I’ve been to other holiday inns in the area that are more updated, with terrible customer service. Linden is 20 minutes, if that, from this hotel. Brand new hotel, but they don’t care if you’re a member or need anything. Jackie and her team here will do anything it takes to make sure your experience went well. The breakfast at this hotel was 5 stars in contrast to the Linden location. Woodbridge 6-10, west long branch 6-10, linden 6:30-9:30. The owner of that hotel cares about money and business. Woodbridge is a tad older, but the atmosphere and employees make it 5 star.
