  Update to response from hotel. I have reached out to the bank and this is still being held by the hotel. Also there was a fake document sent over to us to try to show some sort of authorization. As a retailer this does not exist in the real world. The room was fine nothing extraordinary was trash in the hall ways from a lack of concern of the staff. Plus the main reason for the review was not only was a hold of an extra $100 put on our card fine whatever but an additional $240 was also charged with out our authorization and trying to get this money back is a nightmare. As of 30 days out the money is yet to be credited back to our card. We are given nothing but excuses. We paid for our room we left our room in clean manner. I just want my money refunded. It would be nice if IHG customer service even attempted to care about the situation.

  I have two complaints. The first compliant was the room had black ants in the bathroom and near the fridge and microwave area. The other issue is two people, a male and female were very noisy during the day and especially at night for the five days I stayed there. Apart from those two issues, everything else was good. I really liked the breakfast choices and the bed was comfy.

  My son and I went to the showboat with intentions of staying 2 nights and doing the water park. We knew quickly after arriving that it was not what we thought. We were there less than an hour on easter Sunday night when a fight broke out and 2 people were stabbed. We left immediately and drove to the holiday inn and walked in at midnight to book. Had a lovely stay. Great breakfast, awesome pool and hot tub, clean, quiet rooms. Went to OC for the day...had a nice time. They saved our short spring break vacation. Fascinated by the pancakes machine

  Great location right outside AC. Super clean lobby and modern features. Room was beautiful and spacious and clean water was hot and the water pressure was amazing. Breakfast included....Sausage, eggs, potatoes the norms of bread and cereal and drinks. I always sorta regret leaving great reviews for places but you deserve it. Thanks for having us.

  One of the worse hotels I've ever stayed at. The toilet was clogged before we even check in. We requested maintenance and was told that there were no one available, and the best they could do was to provide us with a plunger. I don’t know about you, but I wasn’t expecting to fix the hotel’s plumbing when I was paying over $400 a night for the room. The front desk insisted that was the only option since it was later in the day. So, I gave it a try reluctantly, but the problem seemed bigger than a simple clog. I then went to tried to get a room switch and was told that they were sold out and I can use the bathroom in the lobby and I can speak with the GM in the morning. It was late and we were tired, so we stayed, even though we were completely frustrated at how unhelpful the staff was. The next morning, we came to look for the manager but was told that he won’t be available until Monday. We left our number for him to call us back and checked out first thing. Come Monday morning, Tyler, the GM called. He was completely unapologetic and dismissive and accused us of causing the clog and we were expected to fix the problem with the plunger! And even without the working toilet, they still provided us with a room that has AC, heating, a pool, and a gym. I told him we checked in at 8pm and was gone by 10am and I stayed in a room without working toilet! He was a complete jerk and totally unsuitable to manage any kind of establishment. WORSE HOTEL EVER!!!
