We left early in the morning and when we left, there were no staff members at the desk. On the way to our next destination, I noticed that my daughter was scratching both of her arms. Upon checking, I saw that both of her lower arms exhibited the classic bed-bug bites, and she had an elevated temperature due to an allergic reaction to the multiple bites. When Priceline contacted the hotel and spoke to a staff member and then to a manager, they both refused to apologize or even offer any type of compensation for our horrible experience and resulting illness on our family holiday. They basically called us liars and the manager told Priceline in 2 phone calls, that they reviewed the camera footage and that is shows us leaving the key card and walking out without complaining to the front desk. They didn't even have the common sense to support their lie by -falsely- stating that there was a staff member clearly shown in the video when we put the keycard in the slot and walked away. This proves that the front desk was unstaffed when we left. Priceline took their words against ours even though we pointed out the gross inconsistencies in this hotel's statements. I highly suggest not using this hotel and if you do, and have a negative experience, do not leave without reporting your experience to a staff member or a manager, no matter how long you have to wait, and.... ****Record Your Conversation**** I cannot remember a worse experience or worst customer service in 30 years of being a hotel customer including at Holiday Inn.... Flat out lying repeatedly is pathetic and wrong. Shameful!
