  Attempted to stay here Valentines day weekend, Waited 30 plus mins in line at check-in to be told us and others couldn't stay in this hotel, Without specific reason. No email or phone call prior to this. Surprised us completely. Relocated us to a cheaper/ low quality hotel 8mins away and charged us the same rate. Attempted to call the manager multiple days who doesn't respond or return Voicemails. I'm looking for an appropriate explanation and to be compensated for this inconvenience and uncomparable stay. I will keep trying to contact this manger and take all steps on all platforms to help others know what they possibly in for staying or dealing with any issues at this hotel.

  Understaffed. Rooms were not ready well beyond check-in time causing loby to get very crouded with people and luggage. Coffee station was out of reg coffee and clean coffee cups. Dirty cups were crowding the counter. Parking options were unclear. Had to go to desk to ask for valet attendant. Side note: in room, frame for full length mirror was larger than mirror leaving a 4" gap at the top of the mirror. I don't think I'll choose this location next time I'm in town.

  We've stayed at many hotels in Portsmouth, but this was the best so far. Nice to have all the goodies like full size fridge, and all kitchen amenities. The room was very clean and everything worked as it should. Front dest help was amazing and when asked for extra pillows, immediate.

  Good god, do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else! This new hotel has so many mechanical issues I can’t believe they opened this year, they weren’t at all ready. The AC is broken in most of the rooms (when we told the GM how hot our room was he told us we were lying to get compensation… so there’s that!), the elevators broke daily (once with us on it! Scary!) The laundry machines are broken, staples are coming out of the carpet on the floors, and the temporary GM they have is so incredibly non managerial and rude I don’t even know where to begin. Hates the guests, hates the role, disaster. On top of all the issues most of the rooms are above a train junk yard and graveyard and not only is it unsightly it’s so loud when trains go by our first room was shaking. Not even close to worth the money, especially with so many other hotels right next door. Not a bad lobby and not a bad location otherwise but Huge pass for all the other reasons.

  Place just opened earlier this year. The staff was nice & clean rooms. Marked on the list to stay next time in town. Good location.
