The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere with friendly stuff who made me feel like home.During my check in I felt so welcomed ,the guy at the front desk in the morning shift was very professional. The only thing they need updated here most likely in the future is the carpet .The Lady in the evening who works at the front desk needs to work on her social skills, she seemed cold and kinda confused when I asked for a towel for the gym, seemed to me like she didn'twant to be there .Not a slight smile, mean face and go time ,she definitely don't brighten anyone's day as a receptionist upfront in the night shift.Breakfast was continental, let's not sugarcoat it ,it had everything you would need for a good power up breakfast, do not expect Steaks and omelets it's a quick grab and go breakfast so I was very pleased with it.They had Eggs fried and boiled ,cereal, milk ,meats, waffles, juices and Cori was very attentive with everything.

Our family has been loyal guests of this property for more than 15 years, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. We reserved a Deluxe room on February 1st and notified the hotel on the day of arrival that we would be checking in close to midnight. When we arrived shortly after midnight, we were issued keys to Room 247 and informed it was a spacious Deluxe room. Upon entering, we discovered the room was already occupied, with muddy footprints, a towel on the floor, the television on, and visible movement inside. We immediately exited and returned to the front desk, where we were told the room had been assigned to us but was given to another guest. As no other Deluxe rooms were available, we were placed in a standard room 263 with the assurance we would not be charged Deluxe rates. The following morning, we encountered a maintenance issue when the toilet would not flush due to a broken handle. When I inquired about both the repair and the possibility of moving to a Deluxe room if one became available. I was told we would need to pay the current day’s higher rate, despite our original reservation being unavailable due to the hotel’s error. I declined, maintenance arrived and we were informed management had approved moving us to a Deluxe room at the originally booked rate. While this was appreciated, we were required to move all belongings ourselves, obtain new keys from the desk, and relocate without assistance to Room 237. Unfortunately, the most concerning incident occurred that evening. At approximately 10:00 PM, after stepping onto the balcony and closing the sliding door, the locking mechanism malfunctioned and locked us outside in approximately 15-degree weather. After contacting the front desk, we were initially asked whether someone else could assist us rather than staff immediately responding. We ultimately granted permission for entry into the room; however, the interior latch was also locked. After approximately 30 minutes, staff had cut the interior latch, and maintenance further to assist unlocking slider door We recognize that issues can occasionally occur in hospitality settings; however, the number and seriousness of the problems encountered during a single stay including being assigned an occupied room, multiple maintenance failures, and a situation that created a potential safety risk fell well below expectations, particularly for returning guests. We hope management will review these concerns carefully and consider appropriate steps to improve processes and guest safety moving forward.

So far so good. Clean rooms and nice breakfast in the morning with cappuccinos! It’s like home cooked hash and eggs with sausage. Lots of juice and sides. With pancake makers

I immediately noticed some problems with the lock on the room. (See full description in a separate section below.) I don't recall precisely why, but I concluded that the internet was unusable and decided to just be glad that I had adequate "5Guc" service on my cell phone, We had to change rooms about an hour after settling in because the ceiling of the bathroom suddenly started pouring water. Not just a little drip drip drip, but a stream of water. I don't know if a pipe had broken or someone overflowed a tub and there was not good drainage, but water was coming from the ceiling light fixture and leaving a big puddle on the ground. The water looked clear, so we hoped it was clean water, but we had no way to know. When we went to call in the problems, the room phone was not working. I had to call on my cell. The hotel did not have any maintenance or housecleaning people who could come and look at it. They offered us another room, one right next to us, but made us come get the key, rather than bringing it to us. So maybe insufficient skills on hand for fixing the problem in real time, but the desk person could not be bothered bringing us the new key. That was not a skills issue. Maybe laziness, maybe insufficient desk staff. I might forgive that if they were giving me a rock-bottom price in exchange for some less personal details, but that was not the case. If you're charging upwards of a hundred dollars a night, I expect the basics to be done right. At least the new room they moved us to had a working phone. I just did not think the hotel was much concerned about the state of repair of the place. It's the sort of thing where the hotel probably ought to have offered us some kind of discount for our inconvenience, but it didn't care about that, either. The room had seemed pricey to begin with, but with all these problems, it definitely was overpriced. With issues like we had, if they don't offer some discount, I feel like they got their money anyway and have no motivation to fix things. The function of discounts is not just to make us feel less bad, which is already important, but to say "we hear you that you didn't get what you thought you were buying, and we'll take some of the hit". They took no hit on this. Our sense was therefore that they thought this was acceptable quality for what they were charging. It just absolutely was not. At the price they were asking, there is no way it was worth it.
