We JUST had a birthday party for our kiddos here. It was a last minute decision and a decent sized guest list. Between Jenny, Jon, Karre, and Jane our evening was so easy and seamless. Honestly everyone we ran into from the hotel was so so kind!!! They really went above and beyond for our group. . Our kids loved playing in the pool and the arcade. They loved the stop at orange leaf obviously lol and the pizza we ordered from Burger Therory was so good. We got it with sausage and onion! Chefs kiss so good. Our whole group was so impressed they all said they would definitely be coming back! Thank you so much! You guys are the best!!

The rooms were not very well cleaned. Building Maintenance is awful. Landscaping Maintenance is atrocious. The pool needs a serious update. Looks like the water line tile hasn't been cleaned in 5 years. Water chemistry is not very well taken care of you could smell the chloramines in the air. No carpet in the hotel rooms at all. I think this is the first time I've ever seen a hotel without carpet in the rooms. Which made the people above you extremely noisy all the time because there was no carpet to dampen the sound. Look like the hallway had not been vacuumed in a week. The only truly nice things about this day was the attached frozen yogurt and sports bar restaurant. Even though the prices in the sports bar were truly outrageous almost 20 bucks for a hamburger. This is one of the worst IHG properties I've ever stayed at. And as an IHG Rewards member I felt scammed by this property. The new trend of hotels in Omaha and Kansas City charging for parking is just ridiculous. As the owner of a pool service company I can tell you that this is one of the worst hotel pools I've been in a long time.

$15 dollar a night parking, that they don’t warn you in advance. There’s no complimentary breakfast, either, it’s $15 admission. They already have an exuberant mark-up price for weekend stays vs week nights- and the less-than-helpful front desk clerk informed me that “they don’t offer late checkouts on weekends”. Basically, I felt PUNISHED for coming to Holiday Inn for my weekend getaway to Omaha, rather than WELCOMED and APPRECIATED for my business.

This hotel was terrible all the way around. We tried to check in at 4:30 the night we arrived and were told our room wasn’t ready yet despite check in being at 4. When we got to our room we found a smashed skittle and McDonald’s cup present in our room. They tried to make up for this by offering a complimentary buffet in their attached restaurant. This sounded great until when we arrived at the buffet at 9 am the next morning they were out of sausage and biscuits there was a 10 minute wait for the waffle maker and the hard boiled eggs they offered were sour.
They only offer room service every 3rd day, and on our 3rd day we even went to the front desk to request room service while we were gone. We were gone from 9am - 5pm. When we got back our room had not been cleaned and we were told they were “just too busy”.
Our room was also located under the noisiest possible people in the world, and with 3 kids under the age of 5 we had had it by our third night, so we tried to call the front desk via the phone at 2:30 in the morning because it sounded like our upstairs neighbors were training elephants only to realize the phone doesn’t work. We then texted the number they gave, and received no response. We tried calling the main number from a cell phone and got put on hold and we hung up and dealt with it after waiting 10+ minutes on hold.
They decided to change the hours of the Waterpark on the day we arrived. As others have mentioned we booked this hotel because of the Waterpark aspect with 3 small kids. They changed their hours to 4pm - midnight for the pool, and the hot tub was closed one of the nights we were here… not to mention the first night we were here there were 60-70 non-registered guests in the pool, we had this confirmed by a staff member. Also only half of the “attractions” on the splash park work, and the whole “waterpark” area is freezing! Including the pool and hot tub!
It is also $15 a night for parking and you have no other options for that.
When we complained about the said events the only thing we were offered was a free nights stay next time… we would not recommend!

They decided to change the hours of the Waterpark on the day we arrived. Booked this hotel because of the Waterpark aspect with two small kids. Awesome of them to change the hours from 4pm to midnight. We tried to check in at 6pm, but we're told we'd have to wait because rooms were dirty, so we went to our evening plans and came back at 8pm and was informed about the Waterpark not being open until 4pm the next day.
No idea why a kids Waterpark would be best served opened to midnight. Maybe my kids are the only ones who go to bed before then. No idea why they wouldn't have communicated this until 4pm the day of check in. But hey, at least they're giving me breakfast. Also, you have to pay for parking.
