Room was clean and spacious and the sheets were so much softer than quite a few recent hotels (Marriott brand hotels) we stayed at and boy does that help you sleep more comfortably. We even booked another HI Express at our next stop because of the nice sheets and pillows. While highway noise is expected when you are close to it, it was rather the poor quality window that seemed like it was open (but wasn’t) that was the cause of hearing car noises rather than just the fact of being close to the highway. Didn’t bother us much but for people who can’t stand traffic noises, this may be an issue if your room is on the highway side of the building. Breakfast options were standard hotel breakfats. Had two meat options which was nice. Have been to a hotel with no meat options so this was a nice feature. Jackie checked us in and was very nice as was the gentleman who checked us out in the morning. Would stay here again.
