Only complaint is when we checked in. There were no rooms avaliable that we pre booked a month ago. I did get a room upgrade but that ment my kid was on a pullout couch. Really not a big deal. But do wish these 3rd party places and the hotels could figure out how to not over book.

The gal at the reception desk was very legalistic. Should cut her some slack though...she is pregnant. We all need help in some ways. Thank you.

We stayed at this property January 16–17 to celebrate my twins’ birthday. We booked one of the most expensive rooms available specifically because the hotel offered both a pool and a hot tub. The hot tub was the deciding factor in choosing this location. Upon arrival, we were informed that the hot tub had been out of service for approximately three weeks. This was not disclosed anywhere on the booking website at the time of reservation. Had that information been available, we would have chosen a different hotel. We were not offered the option to cancel or rebook elsewhere once we arrived. For our family, this was not a minor inconvenience. My twins are neurodivergent, and we plan celebrations carefully around predictable activities. The hot tub was central to their birthday plans, and the disappointment required significant adjustment and emotional processing. After the stay, I provided feedback and received a response from the General Manager stating that I could call the hotel to check the status of the hot tub. Respectfully, guests should not have to call to verify whether core amenities are operational. If an amenity has been unavailable for weeks, that information should be clearly disclosed on the booking website so guests can make informed decisions before paying for their stay. The response also included a statement that this was not the norm and that they hoped we would give the hotel another chance. However, no meaningful resolution or compensation was offered. An apology without corrective action does not resolve the issue. We paid for a celebration experience that was not delivered as expected. Until transparency and accountability improve, we would not feel comfortable booking this property again.

Flying into Omaha from Dallas our flight was delayed multiple times. We were to get into Omaha at 11:00pm instead arrived at 3:00 am. While sitting at the Dallas airport we booked a room at Holiday Inn Express. After the very long, trying delay and being exhausted we finally arrived at the Holiday Inn Express at 3:30 am. The clerk behind the desk didn't greet us, no smile, didn't even say "can I help you", said nothing. My husband finally spoke up and said "we have a reservation" her comment with a look of disgust on her face was "we didn't know if you were coming'. No friendliness, no compassion. Just rudeness. After the experience at the airport with multiple flight delays and having to deboard our plane and get on another we sure didn't need that. The bed was comfortable and room clean. We both had a good night's sleep. If it weren't for the interaction with the desk clerk the rating would be much better.

I had a very uncomfortable experience with a staff member during my stay. An older female staff member mistakenly believed my room was the source of noise caused by other children. Without confirming first, she banged loudly on my hotel room door and began yelling at my children, threatening to have them removed from the hotel. My children were not being loud and had never received a prior warning or noise complaint. This was the first and only time anyone addressed us, and it was handled in an extremely inappropriate manner — especially considering she was speaking directly to minors. I had to step in and explain that if there was a concern, it should be addressed with me as the parent, not by yelling at children. I also explained that my kids were not the ones being disruptive. Despite this, she proceeded to tell my children that if she heard “a peep” from their room, they would be put out. This situation was upsetting, unprofessional, and completely mishandled. A simple verification of the correct room and a calm conversation with an adult would have avoided this entire incident. I expect better communication and professionalism from hotel staff, especially when dealing with families.
