Great hotel to stay at when in Ogallala. Lobby is modern and new as are the rooms. Beds (I had the king) are very comfortable. Bath is new and fresh. The one thing that needs to be improved upon is lighting in the rooms, It’s a bit stark and minimalist and should be warm and inviting. By far the best part of my stay was being greeted on Christmas morning by Stacy at the front desk. She was cheerful and warm and put a smile on my face that lasted the whole day. Thank you Stacy, you’re the best!

Place is a joke when it comes to booking through booking.com Charged us 3x and could barely speak English when we brought the overcharge to their attention! Pending refund takes 10 days before it will get back to us! We travel and stay at hotels in Colorado,Wyoming,South Dakota and Nebraska And have never had a problem like this! Then to top it off they were rude on the phone! Nice hotel but need better staff and management

I stayed at this Best Western in Ogallala in October 2025. It is a great place to stay. Comfortable bed, nice room, comfortable chair and a great big TV for watching football. The hotel breakfast had a good variety and was hot and fresh. I will gladly stay here again when I am passing through Ogallala.

Large, clean rooms with easy access to the highway and nearby amenities. The breakfast was extensive and the person in charge kept the food area well stocked and meticulously clean.

Stay far away from Best Western plus Ogallala Inn, 110 Pony Express Ln, Ogallala, NE 69153. They allow their housekeeping staff to go into your room while you are away. I paid almost $300 for a PRIVATE room, while I was gone for the day enjoying my husband on our 20th wedding anniversary someone went into our room and completely Goldie Locksed us. I had meds out, and other "Personal" items that couples would normally use to celebrate such a momentous occasion. Our privacy was 100% VIOLATED, but we were told by the hotel manager that since we didn't hang the door placard, that if we didn't want anyone to see those items then I should have put them away or kept them in our car. What!? I paid almost $300 to have a room that was mine and no one else's for the entire weekend, I kind of feel like if it's your policy to allow your housekeepers in my room while I am away it should also be your policy to have your employees ask if I want it done in the first place. We were refunded $50 for the "Inconvenience" of having our space and our privacy being violated. I am demanding a full refund as I stay all over the place from Texas to south Dakota, and I have NEVER had to hang the do not disturb on the outside of my door for fear that someone will enter my room and see my "Toys" out on the bedside table while I am gone. I will NEVER stay at another Best Western Hotels & Resorts again, I would rather stay in the walmart parking lot under a tarp then to give them the opportunity to Violate my privacy again. I Just wonder, how many people have they done this to? And how many people just took the $50 and said fine whatever instead of raising hell about it?
