I have spent 141 nights this year in hotel rooms all over the country and the world (106 in IHG hotels), and I was pleasantly surprised by this experience and would put it in my top two hotels. The General Manager, Magnolia was at the front desk when I checked in. She was really nice and helpful. She changed my room assignment to the first floor near the lobby when she learned I was checking in with my mom and her dog, so my mom with her bad hip wouldn't have to walk too far to let her dog outside. She also recommended places to eat nearby, and seemed to genuinely love her job and cared for the guests in her hotel and their experience. Everything in the hotel was well maintained and in good working order. The gym had everything someone would expect in a hotel gym (dumbbells, treadmills, I didn't use it because today was a rest day but checked for future use). The guest laundry room appeared to be in good working order (again, I didn't use it on this one night, but most hotels have something out of order in their laundry room, this hotel had no signs on the washers and dryers). In the room, the door shut relatively quietly, locked securely, and had the metal sliding cover over the peephole. Every fixture and piece of furniture looked and worked flawlessly. Comfortable beds with pillows that were embroidered with pillow covers showing whether they were soft or firm. There were plenty of outlets in easy to access locations. The blackout shade not only blacked out the light from the well lit parking lot, but helped keep the subzero temperature outside out of the room. The water took a couple of minutes to get hot, but when it did it was hot. Breakfast was outstanding: cinnamon rolls, eggs, omelette, potatoes, sausage, yogurt, juices, freshly ground and brewed coffee. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to friends, family and colleagues.

Magnolia at the front desk was very warm and welcoming - just what we needed after a long day of driving in tough weather! This has become an annual stop on our road trip from Minneapolis to Bozeman (mainly because of the fast water slide!) and this year was particularly great because of the exceptional hospitality extended to us by Magnolia! Hope to see you again next year!

Great place to stop on our road trip out west over the holidays. The receptionist was extremely welcoming and friendly to us and our young daughters, the room and amenities were clean, and the pool/water slide was a hit with the kids! Places near by to eat dinner and Breakfast in the morning before taking off again was a bonus!
