Holiday Inn express management said that they have different rates if you pay at the hotel and I should have booked through their website. Hotels.com said it is up to the hotel. I feel like I was scammed out of $25 and typically nobody says anything. Disappointing. It was open house at ECU. Just be aware.

I’m a big traveler, any hotel I stood at and pay online before date, I never had to give my card again nor get CHARGE more! I try explain to the man, he got snappy so I did also since he wanna act like he know every hotel 🤷🏼♀️. He even try to refuse my stay! 2. I book a jetted tub suite room, that was indeed a lie. I didn’t get what I book/pay for but since we done been at it, I didn’t go down to complain since didn’t feel like getting kick out 🙃 3. The people ahead of me was even having problems checking in, so clearly I was not the problem. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ 4. This hotel is a whole joke, will never stay here again in my life. If it wasn’t non refundable, I would have stood elsewhere. 😵💫 5. The guy checking in had the nerve to state “how you go from smiling walking in to this?” Well BIt you just charge more, no where online states such a thing!!!

What started as a stressful situation turned into a great stay, thanks to Tonia and Shecole! Tonia checked me in with such warmth and kindness — her positive energy instantly helped me relax. She even made sure I had everything I needed without extra trips downstairs. The next morning, I met Shecole, who was just as friendly and welcoming. These two ladies truly made my stay memorable. Their genuine hospitality and great conversation reminded me what real customer service feels like. Bonus points: the hotel TVs have full cable, and the showers use Dove products — such a nice touch. Thank you, ladies! ❤️
