Breakfast opened up at 6:30 and the staff took until 07:00 to refill the coffee machine making 12 people wait for half an hour to get their morning joe. Holiday Inn Express advertises coffee 24/7. The machine should have been maintained first thing. UNSAT! Room heater had a burning smell to it. Needs to be cleaned.

Holiday Inn express management said that they have different rates if you pay at the hotel and I should have booked through their website. Hotels.com said it is up to the hotel. I feel like I was scammed out of $25 and typically nobody says anything. Disappointing. It was open house at ECU. Just be aware.
