This was a nice hotel located in downtown Wilson, NC. The staff was fantastic. I would like to give a special appreciation thank you to Lillian at the front desk. She was extremely helpful to us during our check-in. Excellent communication with me via the Hilton app. We had a great king room on the 1st floor. My only issue was that we felt that the room was very dark. Could use better lighting.

The room was ridiculously hot! Like 80 degrees hot and the temp would not go down. Front desk would not answer, tried the chat in app, no answer. This was at 3am. Got dressed went to lobby, could not find anyone who worked here... still at 4am right now trying to find someone to fix the temp while my family sweats in there sleep. Do not stay here.

The hotel is great! Location is perfect, you’re so close to shopping & restaurants, some even walking distance. Our rooms were very nice and clean, what else can I ask for? We just stayed one night passing thru but a good night’s sleep and yummy breakfast.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Wilson, NC, and overall, it was a very smooth and positive experience. One of the highlights for me was the Hilton App. It worked flawlessly for generating a virtual key, checking in, and checking out. I’m a huge fan of the convenience—I didn’t even need to visit the front desk during my entire stay, which made things incredibly efficient! The room was clean and, while basic, it had everything I needed for a comfortable night’s rest. The only real frustration was the blackout shade in my room; it wouldn't pull down all the way, which was a bit of a letdown for someone who prefers a completely dark room to sleep. The complimentary breakfast was also well done. It’s a standard hotel breakfast—nothing gourmet—but it was fresh, tasty, and a great value since it was included with the room. If you’re looking for a reliable, tech-friendly place to stay in Wilson, I’d definitely recommend this Hampton Inn!
