Second time staying here for business. Will be my go to hotel when I come back later this year. Cherie at the front desk was awesome! Great personality and joyful! The breakfast offers variety. The rooms are updated. I was in a king room, which was more spacious. The outlets were USB capable. There is a Walmart down the road. Harris Teeter across the highway and food options within walking distance. There is also a church across the parking lot.

My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Wilmington Porters Neck, the other day. Cheri, the front desk woman, was exceptionally pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. After checking us in, she recommended to us, some local restaurants to try. We took her advice and tried one out. She definitely knew what she was talking about. I can not thank her enough. She deserves a pay raise. The room we stayed in was excellent by every measurable standard. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Whenever we come back to Wilmington, we will be staying at this hotel. I highly recommend this place.

Very good location and that’s why apparently they don’t care to do the rest relying on that. Front desk ladies are very pleasant. We were placed at the infamous 4 th floor and it didn’t failed to surprise me after reading all the bad comments. The air smelled like Chinese restaurant all the times. Our room although modernly designed didn’t have a proper dusting in many months. Carpet was not vacuumed probably in weeks. The rest looked ok but I inspected the sheets and doubted that they were changed as they were wrinkled and didn’t smelled fresh. I requested a set and changed them myself. Dear owner, I see you are reading the comments so please talk to your housekeeping personnel and let some go if you have to, perhaps hire some experienced folks who actually care to do their job. Believe me, nobody wants to stay at the filthy place after a long day of travel and it’s not fair after $215 per room per night..
