    I went into the lobby to hail an uber which I’ve done many times. This older woman with no name tag asked why I was there and l told her. She then went in about how I should not hang out in the lobby, saying “just this once” and that I’d have to stay outside —treating me like I’m some unwanted person. She was then saying that “it’s not that cold outside”. You know what, it’s still pretty cold and I feel safer sitting inside. I went back in to look for a managers card so I could complain. I noticed I grabbed the wrong card as it was for a sales manager for the hospitality company. I went back and returned the wrong card and wanted to see if I could grab a general hotel manager’s card but the only cards they have are for sales. I asked for a managers card. I didn’t get one. I asked for names and gave them but wouldn’t give me their number or any form of contact. When I asked for a number to reach them at she said “I’m not giving you their cellphone number! You’ll have to come back and talk to them then!” She then snidely said “have you ever worked for a hotel before?” In the rudest condescending tone. I then politely called out on her being rude and instead of apologizing like any decent person with even the slightest bit of customer service/hospitality skills would, she just looked at me and said “well, I’ll continue to be rude if you’re going to keep coming back in here”. I then walked away and she continued to spew venom. I then sat on a wooden bench outside while I waited for my Uber and I noticed that she was standing in the lobby watching me. She would pace back and forth and stand in front of the door watching me as though I was doing something wrong. I hope the hotel manager(s) read this because I was considering staying at this location over a long period of time. Now? That’s not going to happen. There are many people in our country that want jobs and people who decide to treat others horribly for absolutely NO REASON do not deserve to be in customer service.Time was 10:07pm - 02/14/26

    This place is always my favorite place to stay when in Wilmington for work or to visit family. It's just outside of the university campus and it is consistent with the quality that I expect.

    Very Clean. Updated Interior. Friendly Staff. Super clean Room. Comfortable Beds and Pillows. Great Breakfast. Nice Cozy Pub. Close walking to shops and Dinner Restaurants

    Completely satisfied. Room quiet, employees friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Stayed 4 nights without any issues. Several good places to eat within walking distance. Would recommend!
