- BBBryan BacherDec 6, 20252.0Good location and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, but their rooms were very disappointing. Beds have a paper thin blanket and paper thin cover on it, nothing to keep you warm and the pillows are about 8 in thick which no one could sleep on without getting a stiff neck. So I went to the front desk and she gave me an extra paper thin blanket that I doubled up(for ideal sleeping conditions The room should be cooler and we should have a warm comforter). And there happened to be one old thinner pillow in the back that I was able to use which was great. The TV remote had no batteries, so I picked up the phone to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. Overall was probably a good thing for me cuz I don't really need to watch TV but just the fact that there were no batteries in the remote and the phone didn't work for the front desk is certainly a negative. Worst of all, I could hear the people in the room next to me when I was getting ready to go to bed, not only could I hear them but their movement shook the wall which my headboard is attached to and kind of shook my bed. Made it difficult to fall asleep. For the price, it's probably the best value downtown if you can get past some of these negatives.for me, it wasn't really worth it because comfort and sleep is the most important thing.
