- ACAnonymous ConsumerDec 22, 20251.0After driving 2hrs to our destination, we were told our room wasn’t ready. Sitting in the parking lot waiting with 2 small kids and 2 dogs was a real treat! Not sure why it took so long to clean our room since there was spit from the previous guest left on the mirror. The following morning when we went down for breakfast, there was nothing left. Even the waffle machine had already been removed! Other families came down after us and they also were left with nothing but a couple milks, yogurt, bagels and the juice machine. If breakfast is scheduled until 9:30, then EVERYTHING should still be available at 8:45! I don’t recommend anyone stay here and will not be staying again with my family.

Then, less than a month later when we actually arrived, the pool was closed. We attempted to at least get some sort of discount for the inconvenience, and we were given the corporate version of "too bad so sad". False advertising and a waste of money. This is the second time I've had this problem with Holiday Inn, and it will probably be the last time I make a reservation with them.
- AWaimee woodringDec 20, 20251.0Although this hotel was a little more expensive than others around, we booked for one night stay to go on the Polar express and we’re willing to pay the extra money because of an indoor pool. We figured that would keep our kids busy during our downtime. we called the day before check-in to make sure the pool Was working and in-service and were told yes everything was running fine. After check-in, we were informed that the pool is down for maintenance. Of course this is after we already paid. We told staff we would like a refund so we could find another hotel with an indoor pool and we were told that we could not get a refund and that there’s no manager on duty that the manager is off until Monday, which is two days from now. So we paid $200 for a room that we could have gotten the same thing for $60 three miles down the road. Horrible!
