  We have been visiting Snowbird for many years now. There was a slight lull In quality when the ownership transferred a few years ago. We just returned from a December visit. The entire experience was just exceptional. From the staff at the front desk, who are always willing to help with anything, to the excellent food prepared by chef, Andrew and Shannon - and the multiple ways Taz provided excellent service. Kudos for assembling an excellent staff to run Snowbird. We look forward to returning in April. Pam and Buzz

  My husband and I spent 3 nights in Wolfe Cottage over the Winter Solstice. Accommodations were cozy but not too upscale, which we like. There are many beautiful places to sit and enjoy the stunning view in all directions, both in the Lodge and outdoors. Easy trails lead in all directions from the Lodge, and within a short drive the hiking is fantastic. And the food! Refreshing, varied, and of gourmet quality. We loved our time there. Photos on their website accurately reflect what we experienced.

  An Absolutely Perfect Mountain Getaway – We’re Already Planning Our Return! From the moment we pulled up to Snowbird Mountain Lodge (11/21/25), we knew we were somewhere truly special. The staff welcomed us like old friends – every single person, from the front desk to housekeeping, the bartenders, and servers, was warm, genuine, and went out of their way with no efforts, in a natural way to make us feel at home. That level of hospitality continued from check-in all the way through check-out; it never wavered for a second. The food… oh my goodness, the food. We’re self-proclaimed foodies (my wife and I have eaten at some of the best restaurants across the country), and the dining here is legitimately fine-dining caliber. Every single dish was exquisite – beautifully presented, perfectly executed, and bursting with flavor. I actually tried to find even one thing that was merely “good instead of great” and I couldn’t. Breakfast, lunch, and especially dinner were highlights of each day. The chef is an absolute artist, and the entire culinary team exceeded our already-high expectations. A very special thank-you to Taz, the Inn Keeper, who is clearly the heart and soul of this place. He has an incredible knack for being present without ever being intrusive, always making sure every guest is comfortable and that every need is anticipated and met. Her care and attention to detail elevate an already outstanding lodge into something unforgettable. I also want to point out Jill, cause she has been a great addition to our wonderful experience by explaining the adventures that were awaiting for us outside the lodge's permitters. My wife and I left feeling like we’d made lifelong friends among the staff, and we’re already counting the days until we can come back to visit everyone. If you’re looking for peace, impeccable hospitality, and some of the best food you’ll ever have, look no further. This place is a pure magical retreat. Thank you, Snowbird – see you very soon!

  This was our first year to come to the SML and we fell in love. The rooms were incredibly cozy. The lodge thinks of everything, including all the little things you forget like flash lights, walking sticks, binoculars, etc. etc. Taz and Andrew make the dining experience 5 stars. The meals were amazing and perfectly portioned. You do not need to worry about a thing when you are here. The location was incredible - sunrise and sunset and great hiking and outdoor activities are just a step away. We are so thankful to get to spend time here with the amazing staff and nature. Will be coming back soon!!!

  The location and the food can't be matched. The rooms in the main lodge are a little rough around the edges. Comfortable but not much more. It would be nice if there was swimming or at least a hot tub in this beautiful mountain setting. The lobby in public areas in the lodge are really nice and exactly what you would expect with an old classic mountain resort. Spectacular views. It is a little pricey. Strikes me as a kind of place you either go only once or every year. Depends on your taste and wallet. And don't expect a TV in sight...
