  Looks like black mold in the shower head. Dogs barking, doors slamming, luggage carts banging until 2:00 am. Dont stay on the even # of the room #s. This is on the I95 side. Road noise all night. Definitely not worth the $143.

  This was super convenient off i95 and they actually have 2x queen with a pull out so my whole family (me. Wife. 4 kids) fit. Rooms were clean and rate was fine.

  Took 30 minutes standing in line to check in only one person at the counter and 5 people in line my room 312 was clean but I had issues with it idk who designs a room with a ceramic entry floor with a inch gap under the door evertime anything happened in the hall is was like a speaker I had to put towels on the floor to block the noise The window in my room wouldn't shut the whole way I tried several times to lock it but no luck when I called the front desk I was told hotel was full an it was in the middle of the night so I just took the comforter and had to drape it over the window to try and cancel noise from outside needless to say didn't get much sleep as I checked out in a.m. i told person at the desk about the issues seemed completely uninterested as they never put down their personal phone And as I am reading through the reviews I notice only the good ones get a public response sad I should get a full refund an a apology just sad

  This is the worst. It took 30 minutes to check in because the line was so slow. It was late so we went to dinner. When we got back and went to our room, it stank of dog. We had to wait in line for another room. That key did not work. We had to wait in line again and once we got a working key we found the room was unmade! Back in line again. Awlful!! Next room still made my wife gag. We are asking for refund and looking for another hotel. Never again!

  I have some disabilities and inclusively a Service Dog.... When making my over the phone Thanksgiving 🦃 Family holiday plans that included my stay at Holiday Inn, Roanoke Rapids, Nc...I was greeted on the phone immediately by Madhu. I have a speech handicap as well (Madhu) was extremely polite and also accommodating to my Every need...including my Service Dog being "comfy" LoL. Making those accomodations with ease had so much more meaning to me than just an ordinary customer service experience!! I called back again during 3rd shift to ask for a specific room that would not b too far to walk from front doorl to the room I was assigned since I didnt have my wheelchait for mobility... (Zyliah) was so pleasant and truly concerned for my needs that she even said after she selected what room she thought was Best for Me...that she would personally walk down and make sure everything I might need was in there to avoid a call/walk to the desk after arrival... I believe that she did indeed do that, because the room was absolute Perfection!! During the evening, I am a very light smoker so especially b 4 bed, I go outside for a smoke. The nightshift Lady (Yvonne), was a true Blessing🙏 really! She watched over me going from and to my room helping me stay safe...And said she was literally praying for my health... My evening at Holiday Inn Express Roanoke Rapids was extremely comfortable and I felt very cared for!! I have physical issues in the morning and struggle upon waking to get ready to leave and get out the door... I get a bit frustrated n cranky n was not in a good mood when I was going out for my Morning cigarette. As I went down the hallway an extremely beautiful & cheerful Lady (Amanda) said "Gmornin" with a big Smile on her face and a very Positive vibe... The kind/soft way she spoke and the huge smile found a way into my heart and brightened my cranky mood immediately. I took the time to mention that just her smile n kindness in that moment changed my whole day!!! As I was leaving that day, I spoke to everyone that was still there b 4 I left. I re-poubted out how their above n beyond kindness and caring was not only something I needed...but how much it helped me during my travels their n back looking forward to my stay and leaving in a Positive way!! I asked only One request in return....I explained that "they could all hear and see my physical struggles...but not All guests will be able to be as distinguishingly recognized.." I asked that on their way to work and during their shifts, they remember ALL that they verbally communicated and additionally showed to me with their caring and concern for my comfort...and they try their Very Best to treat Each Guest the way that they treated me?? They had)have probably never thought that each of their individual kindness, joined together May make a Huge difference in someone else's life... The way it did Mine!!" They all let me hug them and show my gratitude after they listened and then said gbye..... Thank You staff/friends💚
