- NRNC RUBYJan 4, 20265.0Lovely room, only one comment: It needs more lighting near the desk area. It was so dark. Otherwise the room is excellent in atmosphere, cleanliness, all the amenities were on point. I don't know how they do it but the room smell heavenly. The rooms are so well insulated you would rarely hear outside or hallway noises. Before warned that breakfast is not included. Although they do have a restaurant it is very expensive. The items look delicious 😋 but I wouldn't call it hardy. We went to IHOP instead. Next time we may try it out. The desk staff was very attentive, helpful and quick.

I have two knee replacements and, although I don't need a roll-in shower, having a low bathtub with grab bars is a must! This hotel has that and more, with towel rods (what a concept nowadays in hotels), and towel hooks right where you want them by the shower. Front desk staff were very helpful in getting another lamp, helping us with directions, and just generally friendly! Location is excellent, right next to the convention center, if that's what you need, and within a block walking distance of the wonderful New Bern downtown with great shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
