Absolutely unacceptable. When is it ok for the front dest to wake me up at midnight because your credit card system is messed up and you didn't get everything you needed when I checked in at 8pm. Unbelievable hilton do better.

Please be aware if booking this Hilton property line that the rooms have no closet, no dresser drawers, no luggage racks, just 3 “decorative hooks” to hang one item each on, alas the hooks are so low to the ground that a standard size men’s suit jacket hits the floor when hanging from them. The only surfaces to put your belongings on are one small nightstand and a desk large enough for an iPod, sized for my 2nd grader. The sign on the wall suggests storing belongings under the bed on the floor; super practical for anyone with mobility issues, or over the age of 50, like my elderly parents. The rooms also have ironing boards that are less than 3’ long, so I had to put two together to be able to iron a standard dress or men’s shirt. The most spacious part of the room is the bathroom and it is nicely done, nice size walk in shower with foot rest and well lit mirror. The lobby is a bright atmosphere with fun furniture, however the hassle of having to put your suitcases on the floor, no closets or dressers do not make up the fact that this hotel is lacking the basics for most travelers, especially those who would prefer not to put their belongings on the floor, or might like to hang up or put away items in a closet or drawer. We were primarily here for leisure to attend a wedding, however had I known prior to checking in, this hotel is not setup for this type of travel as there was no place to put all of our wedding attire. We ended up needing a second room so we could accommodate 4 people plus have beds and space to lay out suits, dresses, and our other items. I would go so far to say that these rooms are really only enough space for 1-2 people max and had they had availability, I would have booked a third room so we weren’t all tripping over each other and our 4 suitcases for 4 people. Also, the stated under the bed storage was not large enough to fully tuck a standard suitcase in without the risk of tripping on it in the middle of the night if someone needed to use the restroom. As a person who often spends 70+ nights a year in a hotel, I would say Hilton truly missed the boat on this line of properties in their portfolio. I would not stay at a Tru property again. Our in room phone was unable to be fixed to work during our stay, which I suppose is only a safety issue as we are unfamiliar with the area if we had needed to call in an emergency, but those do happen when traveling with elderly family members, so that was just another reason for the one star rating.
