  I road trip a lot up-and-down the 95 corridor of the East Coast. Lumberton is one of my regular overnight stops and this hotel (Home2Suites) is less than a year old and absolutely terrific! Great bang for the buck. Modern furnishings, well appointed rooms, nice bedding & linens, full size fridge & microwave, dishwasher, (no stove), and cleaning is excellent. Well stocked market with food, snacks, drinks, beer & wine for sale. Above average breakfast with additional hot offerings. Pool table in lounge area. Friendly, helpful staff. I noted some complained of highway noise, but my room was fine and I bring silicone earplugs just in case and did not need them. BEST hotel in area!

  This place was beyond expectations for a night stay on the way home from vacation. It was exactly what we needed to take a break, rest and recharge. The room was immaculate, the service over the top and so personal. The two ladies at the desk did everything they could to help our stay be the very best. From check in, hanging out in the game room, enjoying the fire pit to offering help when they had heard us over talking about a potential issue with the room and sleeping. The breakfast had so many selections to choose from pancakes, waffles, cereal and a make your own breakfast sandwich bar. The lady tending to the counters where the food was out was so polite and caring. She helped mu youngest read the juice labels while I was on thr other side making waffles. We all know how making waffles for a family of 4 can be. I couldnt be in two places at once and she was there for me and my daughter with so much patience and caring. I sighed in relief when I almost panicked to rush to her before she pushed a button she had no idea what she was pushing. She guided her along and I am grateful for moments like that. Just the same as the ladies up front offering a roll out of my teen who was complaining about sleeping with his younger sibling. It was exactly what wr needed after 10 hours in the car. It was grace and kindness and we thank you so very much. I am sorry I didnt catch the names. But we checked in late evening 1/6/2026 and out before 10 am 1/7/2026

  This was my first time staying at a Tru by Hilton. I was very impressed. Everything was new and modern. The room was immaculate, spotlessly clean and well appointed. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was right off the highway and easy to find. Definitely going to stay here again.

  Huge handicap room great for wheelchair! However room noise was loud, I 95 and even heard another room alarm going off. Clean and friendly staff. Because of this experience we stayed at another tru Hilton on way home but were disappointed.

  Our go to stop over stop. Clean. Nice breakfast. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. A little outside traffic noise. Friendly helpful staff.
