- HMHaydn M2 days ago4.0We had a nice stay - Elizabeth on reception was excellent - real coffee available after a long day on road was very appreciated - good location for the area - cleaning team letting down the front of house - no hand wash in room - tiled section of floor was very dirty and sticky - we don't wear shoes in the room and our socks were black - not a good look - still a nice stay - breakfast was good - great pool and no pull up bar or mats in the gym room - Charlottesville is still the benchmark of all the Express we have stayed in.

I personally prefer the IHG brand OVER the across the street hotel (BW) Room was noisy this time around but there was a wedding party so congrats to them! Ice machine out on 2nd AND 3rd floor is very inconvenient:-/ (Ps:The lobby attendants are also soo friendly here, breakfast is cute with healthy options) Keepers all around! Thanks IHG! The front desk lady couldn't figure out how to use a different card than the one I booked with and she seemed to be under the influence of something. Check-in took about 45 minutes. Other than that, the hotel was clean and in a great location. Breakfast was pretty good. There was enough Parking for the guests that were staying on a Thursday evening.
