In general this was a perfectly fine hotel. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable, dark, and I slept well. However, I am highly allergic to down feathers and always make a note on my hotel reservations that I need a “feather free room due to an extreme allergy.” I got to my room last night and the pillows were all down. I called the front desk and asked if they could bring foam or down alternative pillows to my room, a request I have made at probably hundreds of hotels over the years and have always been accommodated. The front desk agent said, “you want foam pillows? We don’t have those, we only have one kind of pillow, and they are the same as the ones already in your room.” I tried to explain I was highly allergic to down pillows and her exact response was, “well there is a target near by that I think is still open. You can go buy some pillows.” I know my request is maybe not too common but I know other people with the same allergy and I don’t think it’s too much to expect a hotel to have some down alternative pillows available. In addition I don’t think a front desk person should ever tell a customer they should just go buy their own pillows!

Hilton inn Jacksonville NC. Loisa and David thank you for reaching out to make sure your guest is settled in. The room is clean, the AC is quite. Internet is fast.
However they need to update their TVs. We need the smart TV (to connect Netflix) so the little children can watch and not be bored with commercials on cable channel. Lastly the breakfast need to pay per head to dine? My daughter asked to eat breakfast but I told her we have to PAY extra to eat breakfast, instead we'll eat out for brunch.
I'll make sure to ask this questions in the future to enjoy our stay in Hilton inn with my Family.
