- LBLoujeania BostAug 27, 20255.0This is a follow up review from my stay on 8/24/25. Initially, I rated the hotel a 3 because of some issues that I felt were not resolved with fair consideration. We were placed in a lovely, comfortable room. Unfortunately, next to a room with a dog who barked and barked most of the night. The owners had obviously left the dog unattended. I got no sleep and had a 4.5 hour drive the next day. The desk clerk had indicated that there was nothing that she could do and didn't honor my request to make it right. I call the following day and the manager had already left for the day and I was asked to call back. The following day, before, I could call again the manager called me. He was very nice calm, and heard my side of the story, and promised to make things right. I was pleased and impressed by the way he handled the situation. Ultimately, it's not the situation that offends, because mistakes happen- but how it's handled and resolved that matters. Now I can give the 5 stars that the stay otherwise would have had.
