    Overall everything was great. It’s an older building but I can tell that management is aware and attentive to areas needing a little TLC. The room was nice and where I was facing had a nice view of the pond out in front which was pretty at sunset. The room was also very clean from what I could tell. The bed was a little on the firmer side. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. The breakfast… was kind of meh as hotel breakfasts tend to be hit or miss, but was edible. Overall nice stay. Will stay there again if I’m ever back in town.

    If you like staying in a dog kennel, it's perfect. Stayed here for 2 weeks while doing some training at Camp Lejeune. Room right above me had multiple large breed dogs running around the room constantly. When they weren't barking while being led through the hotel. I have no problem with service animals and am a dog owner myself. I don't take my dogs to hotels and let them run wild or bark. If the dogs weren't enough, half the guests seemed to be construction workers who spent the evenings congregated in the back parking lot right outside the entry door. Playing cards and drinking liquor on the tailgates of the trucks they had parked right outside the door. Hampton Inn used to be more of a middle tier operation where you could always count on a clean room and a peaceful stay, but anymore it's right down there with Super 8 or Motel 6. The more I continue running into this at Hilton brand hotels, the more I'm going to start staying elsewhere on my work trips.

    Great stay, love the 3 free CCS EV chargers, just wish the room had a microwave. Location is great, no loud noises at night.
