First time staying at this particular location and I wasn't left with the best overall experience. The first and biggest issue to start with is that when checking in I was told that my room was swapped from a king suite to a double queen handicap access room due to the hotel being overbooked. Granted I booked my room several months in advance through their website and was given the receipt of a king room with no issues stated. Apparently their policy was to "Inform guest of overbooking at time of check-in" which makes absolutely no sense to me. I could've been informed sooner so I could accommodate the issue. However, they thankfully did not change my rate even with this issue. The beds and room were nice, though because it was a split room it was very easy to hear noise from the adjacent room. Very noisy elevators as well. The street layout was horrendous as well, but that's not entirely the fault of the hotel staff. That's just poor city planning I think. The biggest plus going for the location is that the workers that night that I spoke to were very friendly and inviting. Might give this place another try next year and update a rating. Unsure as of now.

The facility was nicely put together and clean. The staff was really helpful and so nice. The only downsides were some things that seemed outside of the staff control. For example, not a soul in the kitchen or at the desk could tell us what foods have specific allergens. They said the food is brought in pre-made and frozen, and that the ingredients and allergens are notisted anywhere. Most hotels don't have a great variety, but the minimum helpful thing to do would be to have ingredient/ allergen available on site and (bonus) online, so people with allergies can plan ahead. I do think the staff wanted to help, but that policies in place didn't give them the tools to do so. Also, they said there aren't many pack n plays and there is no system to allow you to reserve it ahead. Otherwise, great stay.
