  I when to the hotel because I lost all power in my home my contractor state it to go to a hotel and we will be there in the morning, I enter the counter and the night shift individual states to me the will not take people that are local in the area, I ask her since when because 3 months ago I was here and I been a customer here for long time, she said call customer service number, she wasn’t professional, she wanted to argue with me, so I explained to her that I will speak to the town mayor in the morning and explain what happened to me, hopefully the mayor will give a call and fix the issue,I’m a member of the council commission and it will be a pleasure when we decide to stop business with thst hotel in that area I felt it was a race issue with the night person,it was very unprofessional on her actions and I will mention this in the meeting in the morning

  Terrible experience. They wouldn’t let me continue with my booking because my ID has my hope mills address and they’re don’t allow people that is from hope mills book with them. This was a very frustrating experience. It truly felt like discrimination. I will be calling corporate

  Never even made it in the room. Reserved online...went to check in and couldn't. Why you may ask. Because I live less then 60 miles to the place. What is that about? Wanted to surprise my wife for our anniversary....oh well we were both surprised with no room.

  Let me start by saying the staff were very friendly and nice. If this review was just about the staff it would be 5 stars. They were friendly and cheerful and made us feel welcomed. However it's not just about the people. The building is old. It shows in things like stained carpets and dirty doors and door frames. There were bugs as seen in the picture. The food for breakfast was overcooked. But the worst part was the elevator. Our room was on the fifth floor. We come back to the hotel late on our second night to be informed that the elevator was broken. We would have to take the stairs to the 5th floor. My husband is old and has crippling arthritis. He walks with a cane. This was way too much for him but what else could we do? I wasn't going to have him sleep in the car. It wasn't until the next day that they offered to move our room to the second floor. Still had to climb stairs, just not as many I guess. I understand it was no one's fault that the elevators broke. I just think it could have been handled better. Maybe could have moved us to the first floor the night or went out? Maybe a partial refund since we couldn't access the elevator? Either the building needs to be updated or the staff needs to move to a newer hotel.
