Loved everything about our stay. The rooms were as described with a very comfortable bed and great shower. Enjoyed the retro feel and the staff were super friendly with great suggestions for local hikes. We ate at Oak for dinner and brunch - delicious food and excellent service. We will definitely stay here again.

We have visit skyline before but never stayed and have eaten at Oak multiple times with amazing service. Recently we had a had a few friends stay at the hotel stating it was awful the dirty rooms, room service will never call you back and rooms smelling moldy. Long story short my husband and I had plans this week to stay for my 40th birthday and wine festival but once we heard this we tried to cancel our reservations my husband called for over a week and left messages no one ever called him back. Now finally it’s two days before our reservation the front seat still have yet to call us back so my husband had to call the restaurant to get in touch with the front seat and still no one answered. Finally the lady at the restaurant got our hotel reservations cancelled but we lost our deposit due to their negligence of not doing their job and answering their phones. This is suppose to be a 4 star hotel, please do not waste your time or money here. But do eat at the restaurant it’s amazing!

Room 215. Had I understood exactly where this room was located, I would have very quickly requested a room change. I know now. It was consistently noisy beginning in the late afternoon and usually continued for several hours. It’s really great that folks gather around the fire pit and talk & drink & laugh. Certainly I have been one of those people and easily understand how much fun it can be. Your guests will remember Skyline as a fun place. It’s good for everyone. I hope you are able to inform your new guests that Rm. 215 can get noisy at certain times. Plans can be altered, room changes are possible.. For us, it was the complete surprise. Advance warning would have been appropriate & appreciated. You have a wonderful place here. Relaxing. The building and the surrounding area are beautiful, The staff and is professional AND friendly. I would have no qualms whatsoever in recommending Skyline Lodge, And I will! Thanks for the hospitality and good service.

Overpriced and not well managed. Rooms are dark and musty smelling. Cheap plastic chairs on the porches and there's no breakfast offered other than the restaurant that's dirty and crowded. Coffee is in the reception/gift shop which is so awkward and not convenient. There's no space to congregate other than the outside patio which is a filled-in pool with astro turf. Staff is not very friendly especially in the restaurant. Evening cocktails is a line at the bar with no cocktail servers...super disappointed at this place!!!!!!!

***UPDATE: The “response from owner” from my review said to contact them. They did not include a name or number. The call goes to a mailbox. I tried to call twice and message them through their website, but they did not respond. Best to find other lodging! The room was disappointing. We knew we picked one of the older ones, but this one had stains on the bench, on the carpet near a fake plugged in unattractive fireplace, debris on the balcony, a large dead tree blocking the view from the window and chips in the bathroom wall tiles. All things that should be taken care of and maintained considering the high cost of the room. No hand soap in bathroom! We ordered a bottle of champagne for our room and it wasn’t there. We had to go to the desk to get it and find the ice machine. Couldn’t regulate the temperature well so we were hot, then cold. I’m sorry I don’t have any positive things to say. Sleep wasn’t great. Dog barking at 10pm and again in the morning next to our room as well as a crying, small child at 10:30pm. The steakhouse was a letdown too. I ordered a 8oz filet mignon and it was charred on the outside! I couldn’t taste the beef. I would have sent it back, but a customer on one side of me sent his back and another next to me had a food issue, plus it was my husband’s birthday and I didn’t want to disappoint him.
