- JMJames McLeanNov 24, 20252.0While the rooms and location of this hotel are both very desirable, the staff at the front negate those positives. We arrived to an unfriendly stare followed by a “checking in?” No greeting or welcome. None of that “southern hospitality” we’ve heard about. The unfriendly person then asked if we’d be parking in the garage and I said no, we’d park on the street. She then proceeded to tell us “you can’t do that. We won’t be held liable for you getting towed” to which I explained that I’d researched the parking regulations via the QR codes posted all over town and we’d be fine. She said she was keeping the charge on the room because she knew “we’d end up in the garage”. And big surprise, we parked right in front of the hotel and no ticket and certainly no tow. They finally removed the charge at checkout. I’m not sure if it’s a scam by the hotel, the staff person just not knowing anything, or something else but it was the strangest interaction I’ve had with a hotel employee in years. Avoid this place unless you like scams.

I contacted the hotel in a panic on Monday and was told that it was turned in by Amanda in housekeeping and they shipped it to me quickly and carefully. Thank you Michael, Sh’Nya, Amanda and the rest of the Hilton Staff! I will definitely stay with you guys any time I visit.
