  Had the pleasure of staying here to celebrate my fiancé’s and my birthdays last month. Easy and quick check in and convenient location. Rooms were exceptionally comfortable and clean. Very quiet. Almost felt like we were the only ones on the floor. Entire staff were super friendly. Ashley at the front desk was so sweet and it was evident that hospitality was her thing. Maria the cook was amazing and extremely attentive. She needs her photo on the wall. I felt like my mom was taking care of me. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a pleasant stay like this before. The stay was too short. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely be back whenever we visit Greensboro again. Thanks for a great stay!

  Great, clean and nicely appointed hotel with a convenient location. Hilton needs to invest in better windows to block noise. The train and the racing cars continued until 330am and started again at 630am. I literally got 2.5 hours of sleep. The ear plugs they provide did not help. When I complained, Stacy replied "it's Saturday night and a downtown hotel". Grrrrr! Ive stayed on Time Square in NYC numerous times and the noise was not that bad. I moved to another nice, quiet Hilton property today in order to catch up on my sleep. Leona...u are the best!!!

  The staff was excellent at this hotel, however I Will not stay there again. This hotel was just ok. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable.

  I travel frequently for work, and as an Honors member I usually stay with Hilton brands. This was my first time staying at this Hampton. The front desk staff was pleasant, the room was standard, and breakfast was acceptable. I stayed for three days and left a generous tip for housekeeping, which is my normal practice. After checking out, I reviewed my bill and found a $250 smoking fee added without any notice. I do not smoke, so the charge was both confusing and alarming. Three weeks later I called the property and spoke with someone who identified herself as the general manager. I was told there were “cigar guts” in the trash and that the room “smelled like drugs.” None of this is accurate. I do not smoke, and there was no odor of any kind. My work involves reviewing the humidity of certain products. Disposing of sample material in a trash can would not create any strong or drug-like smell, and I have never had an issue at any hotel in over 15 years of business travel. I was also surprised to hear that staff is going through guests’ trash and then using subjective interpretations to apply a substantial fee after checkout. This feels like a revenue tactic that relies on unverified claims. Based on other reports, it appears this is not an isolated incident at this location. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this hotel for business or personal travel, even though I am frequently in the area. If you are considering booking here, be cautious. There are better options at this price point, and the management’s handling of this situation raises serious concerns. I have already contacted both my lawyer and Hilton corporate executives regarding this matter and awaiting their direction on what the do further. They will respond in the comments to try and change the narrative, but I have clear proof of everything that was done in that room from check in, to final walk out before checking out. Beware.

  Somehow I ended up latching the security guard and locking myself out of my room at MIDNIGHT! The overnight front desk attendant tried everything to help me! I appreciate her so much. But it was ANTON who truly saved the day within minutes of arriving on site, AT 2AM mind you. This was literally the most unexpected situation ever and both of them made it bearable. I am still baffled as to how I did something so foolish. Give them both a raise and give ANTON an extra holiday bonus. People like them truly make the business great!
