Hotel could use some updates - it's clean, but definitely dated. That said, the staff makes up for it. Everyone we spoke with - housekeeping, breakfast attendants, even maintenance when my daughter dropped a necklace charm in the sink - was incredibly friendly and helpful.

I spent time at this hotel which was clean, with friendly service and a beautiful atrium with small waterfall display etc. I wanted to thank Mrs./Ms. Sandra for all her help kindness. i needed help with the snack situation, wifi questions and a few other things, she was kind, smiled and took care of business! Thank you ma'am.

Arrived at GSO airport around 9:30 pm. Tried calling the hotel for 20 minutes for shuttle. The phone rang endlessly with no answer, and at least 4 times it answered and immediately hung up. Finally had to get an Uber to get there to retrieve our vehicle parked there during our trip. Waited another 20 minutes in the lobby while worker at desk assisted one guest and several other workers milled about completely ignoring me. I finally left and went to the Courtyard Marriott for the night. Pitiful service.

We checked in on 11.14 around 9p due to travel, but when we arrived to our room it needed to be cleaned. So the night time front desk (A) wasn’t so helpful, but night time first (b) Emmanuel was excellent but outside of his control the nighttime cleaning staff was pretty awful with their cleaning services. So at this time my son needed to get some rest to prepare for tomorrow, and night time front desk (b) put into the notes to clean the room in the morning at 7AM. We left at 7AM and returned at around 11am and guess what no services was done to our room. So to be fortunate night time service desk (b) was there. He spoke with his manager and they got the housekeeping manager and two staff members and did a cleaning that was needed the night before which was 10/10 this time. The house keeping manager Mr. Derrick and staff was nothing short of amazing. In addition I spoke with the night time desk manager (b) his manager and he wanted to make sure we received the cleaning that we needed and made sure we had a few additional accommodations added. Yes, this started out extremely bad, but due to Emmanuel, Derrick & Cleaning Staff, and the GM of this location made things turn out to be excellent.

This has to be one of the worse experiences at an Embassy Suites I've ever had. Arrived late Tuesday night to a room that felt like someone left the window open. I thought okay no biggie, I'll turn on the heat, laid down and dozed off woke up 4 hours later at like 430am and it's even colder than it was when I got there. Got up turned the heat up to 77, actual room temp was 62 at 630am. Got the usual how was your stay text after I checked out (mind you I told the front desk I wanted to file a formal complaint) and responded to the text with my complaint (this is after I had already emailed the manager) and was told by Kristyn they would respond to my email. Two days later, haven't heard anything. I think I'm going to follow up corporate because this is wild. I literally woke up with a sore throat and runny nose because of how cold it was smh. Didn't get offered a refund, discount or ANYTHING!
