Ambiguous Enigma

Al the Bartender was great—very friendly, welcoming, and professional. He made excellent drinks and really stood out as a positive part of the experience. While the common areas and overall atmosphere were nice, the rooms were extremely disappointing—comparable to a Motel 6 or worse. The room was very unclean, had visible mold, and there was a leak behind the toilet, which was concerning and unacceptable. Al did an excellent job, but the room conditions and maintenance seriously need improvement.

My experience has been more than great here!! Starting with Ma. Sandra she greeted me and my family with a warm smile. Earlier in the day I went through a lot coming from out of town and my truck broke down. She referred me to a great mechanic. Ms Tiffany took us was great as well. From the first time that I called to get check in details, and when I actually saw her she was just as kind. Mikayla was also great!! I met during the evening time. She was very pleasant. Then I met Ms. Veronika and she my veggie omelette just right. Everyone here is very kind and I highly recommend booking your room here 💖🌸💖

this hotel is in such a great location, right off of I 40. The service and people here are top-notch. Makayla and Trea at the front desk, are extremely friendly and went over the top to see that our requests were met.
The free breakfast is amazing! You can order made to order omelettes with Shannon. His skills are unsurpassed, and you can even request egg whites. The buffet offers freshly made eggs, bacon sausage, fresh fruits, and yogurt, as well as oatmeal with all the toppings.
The workout facility was well equipped with three treadmills, elliptical, bike, a complete rack of free weights,
weight machines benches, and a peloton bike. Again, the best gym I’ve ever seen in Greensboro hotel.
Our stay was just what we needed comfort and relaxation.
despite other reviews, this hotel is the best one I’ve stayed at yet in Greensboro. And I am a member of the the, Choice Hotels group also.
We come to Greensboro a lot, and this will be our first choice to stay as long as it’s available. 😊👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This particular Embassy Suites has a great location, but the interior feels outdated and the HVAC system seems only minimally effective. If you’re traveling with kids, be prepared for limited breakfast options. There was no Lipton black tea, no green tea, no whole milk, no 2% milk, and not even 1% milk available. There were also no plain or flavored yogurts, which are usually popular with families. During our December stay, the orange juice machine didn’t work either.
There was no hand soap in the bathroom initially, and we only received one after multiple follow-ups. The HVAC in our room was also not working, and instead of offering us a different room, we were asked to wait for a technician — even though we were only staying one night as a stop-over during a long trip. We also had to leave our room several times to request help, because calling the front desk didn’t seem to resolve anything.
I informed Priceline about these issues, and they contacted the hotel, but no assistance was offered. Both Priceline and the hotel management simply apologized without taking any real action to provide a satisfactory solution. It seems the days when companies would offer compensation for situations like this are gone. Now the response is simply, “We appreciate your feedback, we’re sorry, and we’ll try to fix it,” with nothing more done for the guest who actually experienced the inconvenience.
Overall, the location is convenient, but the condition of the property and the lack of meaningful customer support made this stay very disappointing.

We made airport parking reservations through a third party - but the shuttle to the airport is provided by Embassy Suites. We called at 6:57 to be picked up and were told that the shuttle was on its way to the hotel and then would come back out and get us. We stood in the 30 degree weather for 30 minutes and called back. We could hear the receptionist talking to the driver and he said “ain’t no way they been out there that long - I was just out there” - we waited 15 more minutes and he finally came. NINE minute drive to the hotel. He didn’t put our bags in or take them out. He did have a nice personal conversation while he was driving. I just can’t stand it when people lie.To be fair, the driver who took us to the airport on Christmas day was phenomenal.
