You cannot rely on the restaurant. It’s the 2nd or 3rd time that something happens there… They can’t seem to keep their employees in the kitchen… last night after ordering… the guy at the bar came back saying the kitchen were closed due to the chef cook walking out on the job… he apparently just quit! As a Diamond, I have the perk of the $15 off… but can’t be used here… and again… not the first time. This hotel constantly disappoint…

TLDR: Dirty rooms, unhelpful service. I travel for work and stay at hotels across the country. The room I received at this hotel was dirty. The bed was made. The mirror and maybe one shower door had been wiped in addition to the table near the bed. The carpet, was un vacuumed - other ppls crumbs, rocks etc. I was only staying two nights and checked in late my first day in so unfortunately I was too tired to deal with it. Then it only got worse. The bathroom counter had greasy rings on it. And when I later went to take a shower on day two my shower had writing on the wall as the steam heated it up. Clearly has not been wiped. I just hope they changed the sheets… Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to bring these issues up until leaving day and was basically told too bad so sad, should have told us sooner so we could validate your story. If I had the option I wouldn’t stay here again.

I booked in March for GHOE with the understanding that renovations would be done by October. The lobby was still under renovations and work taking place the night I tried checking in. And there was only one elevator working. Given the volume of people during GHOE, the mess of the renovations, only one elevator operating, and the poor quality of the room, I knew I was not going to enjoy my homecoming if I stayed. The staff was great and fully understood my need to leave.

This property is not ready for PRIME TIME. I arrived on 10/9/25 for the "THE GREATEST HOMECOMING ON EARTH", NC A&T homecoming at 7:23 PM EST. Upon arrival the front entrance was taped off due to new carpet replacement in the lobby area. The carpet installers were their working upon my arrival. I assume the hotel owner knew the homecoming date, as 175,000 people emerge on the city for this event or he/she did not care because the hotel was sold out with no other options that weekend in the area. The carpet replacement lasted for two days with no explanation from the hotel owner. Even the staff was puzzled on why the replacement would take place homecoming weekend. Additionally, only ONE elevator was operational throughout the weekend, this was problematic since my room was on the 11th floor. I also noticed the hotel had ONE luggage cart available for customers. This hotel does not offer bellman service, so each customer is on their own. The hotel staff was friendly & accommodating but the hotel owner could use some training on Customer Service & Hotel Preparation/Planning. Aggies given hotel choices during homecoming, I would proceed with caution with this property.

I arrived on 10/9/25 for the Greatest Homecoming On Earth at 7:20 pm EST. To my surprise, the front lobby area was taped off due to new carpet being installed. I assume hotel management knew A&T homecoming was that weekend, but ignored fact that 175,000 people would be in-town to celebrate GHOE. Since all hotels in the area were sold out, it did not matter to hotel management that the carpet installation would take two days and presented a major inconvenience. Additionally, only one elevator was operating. That presented a problem since my room was on the 11th floor. This hotel was not ready for PRIME TIME. I would encourage all Aggies to avoid this property for GHOE.
