    check in to the hotel and there were bugs in the room. Spoke with the staff states this hotel is bug infested

    Very disappointed in this hotel. We went to visit our son for Christmas. He is in the military and was not able to come home. We have previously stayed at this hotel with no major issue. This time however we were charged for our room twice. Leaving us with little to no money to spend time with our son. We asked for a refund for one of the charges as we only have one reservation. We were told to wait for the general manager on Monday morning. I have called multiple times and have left my number with no return calls. I am starting a dispute today. We did not have any internet our whole stay as well and kept being told it would be repaired. The staff we spoke with during our stay, were friendly. It is not acceptable to steal money out of people's account and then just ghost them. Very disappointed and will never stay here or at any property that this general manger manages.

    Heads up if you stay at the Best Western Plus in Goldsboro. Had an employee come into town to help me. The Best Western had availability- so we booked there. Upon pulling his sheets back, he noticed these little fellas running around. He called me and I told him not to unpack anything- GET OUT! He went to the front desk with one of them and showed them. He then told them he would stay elsewhere. Front desk lady saiid she would as well... ? I was able to get him a room at Home2 and the rest of the weekend was fine. Called Expedia and explained the situation to them. They called the hotel multiple times and was told the manager would call them back. They called a few more times- and finally got him on the phone. He refused the refund and told them that the "renter" should have just dealt with it.. well Mr. Manager- now you can deal with it.

    It seems the hotel lacked employees. Sheets were not changed. Lamp shade had mildew on them. Toilet would not flush. Room had musky smell, and the breakfast was nasty. There was no coffee.
